I wasn't sure how to "star" for "thickness" and "warmth" (what was asked) I put 2 stars for both because its a linen towel and is naturally thinner and although I really don't know i can't imagine its "warm". What I do know is that i love these towels! I wish i had found them before I got others. Most others have some kind of tassels and I'm not a fan, they unravel, and get all knotted up when washed. These have no tassels, and are way more absorbent then the other brands I've gotten. If there is something that some may not like, I would say it would probably be that its not super soft, it kinda feels stiff, or slightly corse. It doesn't bother us at all, but if it helps, from what I've read about these types of towels the more they are washed the more they soften. Ive gotten 3 in total now, and they are the only ones I use..the other brands are just backup now. As a side note, there is a loop so you can hang on a hook if you like, the black stripe is exactly what I was looking for, and fits our vintage industrial style perfectly. I was a little worried it would bleed in the wash, but it did not..they are the perfect..love them!

Three years later and it's getting soft to the point I don't think "ugh here we go" lol. It's definitely the best made of the three towels of different brands I bought. However its not soft out of the package. I have as feeling this brand will last forever where the others may last a little less than forever due to being "broken in".Honestly though the reason you buy linen towels it is because you will have them for a lifetime. It's going to take a good while to break in (people use to hand down linen towels and sheets). I will say I do occasionally enjoy the slight roughness, its good for the skin. Also it absorbs like magic (pat yourself dry) and dries super fast and never smells. I should have bought a few, I'm thinking about buying another but dreading the break in period. Lol.

This is a beautiful linen towel, well worth the price. The weave is hefty & rough, which feels very nice after a shower. Linen is an extremely thirsty fiber, so this towel will dry you off with just a quick blot, or you can rub a bit for some gentle stimulation & exfoliation. It dries very quickly & never mildews or gets that sour smell that terry towels do. It folds down compactly, so it frees up lots of space in my linen cupboard, & it'd be wonderful for traveling. I'd love this towel even if it didn't look so great, but this is actually quite stunning in my bathroom.

Bigger than I expected. Nice stiff/springy drape--doesn't bunch up like cotton. Obviously it's not soft, or thick (in fact it's so thin you can see through it), but it is absorbent and it dries much, much quicker than a terrycloth towel.Also obviously, it's overpriced, but it does have a unique style---most other linen towels don't just feel like sack cloth, they look like it too.My favorite part is that it doesn't spew lint all over the place.

I keep ordering one at a time up to 8.....they are so beautiful and perfect colors. I keep thinking I will never find towels I love more. They make the bathroom look so European and the little cloth loop in the middle of the towel is perfect for hanging your towels on artistic hooks.

Never used a linen towel before and I love it. It is very absorbent and a perfect size to dry yourself. I also love the look of it in my bathroom. I would definitely buy it again even though a bit pricey.

This towel looks great in both my bathrooms, wraps completely around me with much fabric to spare, stores compactly, and dries me and itself faster than any towel I have yet owned.

When i switched all of my terry cloth towels to linen towels i bought a few different brands to see which i liked best. I found this one and Linenme were the best. Wash this towel before you use it for the first time, it will leave fuzzies on you.
