Unmatched Battle of Legends Vol 2

Honestly one of my favorite board games of all time. A super fun time. A game where its not painfully tedious with strategy, but rewarding when you do strategize. A game where you can play like an idiot and still have fun considering how varied and diverse the cast of characters are. The interchangeable sets also is the icing on the cake.

Game Is a lot of fun, not difficult to learn, and visually pleasant.

Restoration Games knocked it out of the park with this expansion. As die hard Unmatched player, this was the perfect product for me. I can’t seem to stop playing as Blackbeard, or on the Santas Workshop map. Super easy to get into. Always fun to play. Thank you for this new addition, Restoration Games.

This is a very in-depth head to head strategic board game that moves quickly. High quality production, replay-ability high. .

One of my husbands and my favorite games. We have collected most of the rest of the unmatched boxes as well. Fun to mix and match.

Very easy to learn, and out 10 minutes, and setup is quick. The artwork on the cards are beautiful and the combat is satisfying. Very fun filler game to challenge a friend. Love this set. Don't forget to experiment the Witcher characters with characters from other Unmatched sets!

Rules - 4 Gameplay - 5 Play Time - 5 Replayability - 5 Cobble & Fog detailed below I have always enjoyed Dice Throne for a quick skirmish game but having now played several games of Unmatched - Cobble & Fog, I think I have found an even better game that scratches that itch. While Dice Throne is super easy for new players to get into, I think the Unmatched series is even better. Each big box includes 3-4 characters and a large 2-sided game board. The rules are quick and clear. Simply choose 2 of the 3 available options on your turn (yes, you can do the same option twice). - Movement - Draw a card (required) move your fighter (optional) - Play a scheme card - Attack your opponent You win the game by bringing your opponents fighter down to 0 health. Unfortunately, the sidekicks is not explained very well in the game. For clarity, during the movement phase your hero and each of your sidekicks may move. You still only draw one card at the beginning of the movement phase. During the attack phase you may only attack with either your hero or one of your sidekicks. The game play time listed is 20-40 minutes and we found that to be accurate. The replayability of this game series is off the charts since the unmatched game series is designed so that any character from any expansion can be played against the others. If you enjoy games where you battle your opponent using skill and cunning, and less luck, than you will find any of the Unmatched games a great option. Cobble & Fog version of Unmatched Includes: Dracula can deal heavy hit damage on his own and using hypnosis he is quite the opponent. He also comes with the 3 sisters for sidekicks which he can bring back from the dead. Sherlock Holmes is cunning and using his ability to look at your hand of cards is a very thematic way of simulating his deductive reasoning skills. Using Dr. Watsons medical (healing) and military skills (ranged attack) can be very useful. The Invisible Man makes use of his 3 fog tokens instead of sidekicks. He can move from fog to fog with ease which allows him to appear out of thin air. attack, then disappear again. The multiple personalities of Jekyll and Hyde are used to good effect in this set. While Dr. Jekyll uses his healing powers to keep his health points up, Mr. Hyde is pure evil and deals out extreme damage to his opponent, and sometimes to himself. Though you can change forms at will you may also be forced to change based on your card effects. Just don't stay in Mr. Hyde form too long since you'll receive 1 point of damage after you maneuver. Being Evil has a price.

Board game box arrived with leftover sticky substance on it. When I opened it, the health dials were already assembled and the cards were not in its plastic packaging. Seems like it was a second-hand product but it was not mentioned. Giving 3 stars as it is still playable.

Unmatched is a fantastic game - quick to play, easy to learn with lots of depth and strategy. I have been enthralled with this series since picking up Robin Hood vs. Bigfoot. Great for all ages with fictional characters from legend and literature to Bruce Lee!

Delivery is 4 days faster than planned. Excellent. Product is of high quality. Enjoy the game with my kids.
