Exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted to replace all the cheesy brass hardware in my new home with something a little more contemporary and settled on matte black. These were exactly what I was looking for, and arrived with exactly the count I needed to change out all ten doors in my home. They are well-constructed, great-looking, and the holes were drilled exactly as the hinges I was replacing, so they installed easily. They also matched all my new Schlage matte black door-handles perfectly. The pins are a little tough to remove, so I'd advise getting a hinge pin tap to make your life easier... and coating the pins in Vaseline before replacing them will keep them easy to remove next time. A couple hinges developed squeaks after a few weeks, but that was easily solved with hinge oil spray.

Perfect, not too thick but sturdy!
Was worried about the other reviewer who stated that these were thick and would need the door to be trimmed to work... ordered them anyways hoping they'd work and they did! They were a little thicker than the old hinges that we replaced but we did not need to trim anything to install. Speaking of, they are super easy to install!

I love these...thick and beefy hinges....but....They are thick ...& for every door which we are replacing those ugly gold hinges...we have to shave a bit off the door because these are so thick.But, they look beautiful...haven't scratched...definitely would recommend to anyone.

Great way to modernize 90's brass hinges
I replaced my homes 90's brass hinges with these, everything went very smoothly. Aside from 18 Screws per door (no fault of the hinges) the installation went very smoothly. The only comment that I will make is that the hinges did not come with any lubrication on the hinge pins. Overall great product for the price.
