I have a large yard. 3-4 acres that needed fertilizer, lime and weed control.This spreader worked but it's not trouble free.The vibrating assembly to keeps the product moving freely is terrible. Several times it jammed and stalled the motor. There is a screw on the disk that hits the agitator as the disc turns. It finally broke off. I replaced it and it broke again. I finally removed the agitator from the hopper and plugged the hole with a bolt and couple large fender washers. So now I can only spread products that will gravity feed. I mount the unit on the bucket of my front end loader. I can give it a shake with the bucket controls which helps.I spread 1000 pounds of lime and nearly the same amount of fertilizer. It worked but not without a bunch of screwing around with that vibrator.
