I'd love to start by saying, after long searching, many comparisons, reviews, hours of videos, I was already impressed by the pitch provided on this page. Many of us who were brought up before Androids, before home consoles each became the go-to, the arcade was the go-to place. Bring your quarters, bring your friends, or make new ones, it was an experience that even the sights and sounds of one game can carry all that nostalgia, you may soon feel like it was 1982 again! Well, if you'd like to, of course. That's not saying that anyone born this century can't enjoy the Pandora's Key... To the contrary I'd say. This product is everything as advertised, and much more. The more I read on the Product Details, the more I realized that THIS was the best seller, the best deal, and like suggested, I wasn't waiting any longer -- Making that dream come true, having an arcade at home, let's see what this thing could really do! With Prime shipping, it took maybe a total of 4 days? 5 at the latest, but given President's Day, delays were to be expected. To me, it felt like no wait at all - though I was eager, I'd just patiently await the arrival of this Pandora's Key 7. With most places, you need to worry, am I going to get what I paid for? I got my answer promptly, and it's the reason I've decided to share my story, hopefully giving you, or one you know, the nudge they need to decide on buying or not. For the price, you will not find anything better. As it's described as "Plug N Play", it dang sure is! As long as you have a VGA or HDMI compatible monitor or television, straight from the box, the Pandora's Key worked marvelously. Turning the power on will start a lovely little intro video, while yes it's mandatory to watch every time, it's only 10 maybe 15 seconds, and a small sacrifice to make considering the hours of potential gaming you may have. The Pandora's Key here came with everything as the seller listed, and even having this for two weeks - I still can't tell you all the games I recognize, and those I don't. Just an awesome variety, and again, all you could ask for. Missing a game? No problem! Just add your favorites yourself, there's videos & FAQs all over, but thankfully it is easier than you'd imagine! As far as the stick itself, the controls work wonderfully! I'm not a connoseur, to tell in great detail if there's 90% rigidity, or blahseblah about things I don't know, but I will say that the machine feels very well constructed. There's no feeling of Cheapo Depot, dime store, when you feel this in your hands. It's got a good weight to it, not overly heavy but enough that it should withstand the typical use and abuse associated with arcade games. Of course, I'm speaking for parents or for those who've got teenagers in their 20s and 30s. The sticks, buttons, and console itself are well built, and given the right location, will not move! 8 grip pads underneath the system do their part, just make sure the surface is dampened slightly, and the rubber grips will hold most weight. I digress, my last wish would be anyone being rough with a marvelous piece of architecture like the Pandora's Key, I'm only wishing to let you who may be unsure know, NO, it is not cheap, do take good care of it, though remember too that it will last only as long as you've taken that good care. As for myself, I treat it like my baby, save for the diapers and baby powder and all. Take it for trips, take it out to the living room for those long nights in, make it a centerpiece, whatever! When you purchase the Pandora's Key 7 from this seller, you're making an investment that can only double in time. I'm sure I'd spent at LEAST the asking price, in quarters & bills myself, growing up a mallrat, so the price, and the value, I would say will always weigh in the "value"s favor. Whether you're thinking of buying for family, for kicking back with your friends on some games, or adding to (or completing?) Your collection, my answer is a loud and resounding YES! With the package, you get all that is described, and I'm well pleased there also. Two replacement buttons (still clicky!) are included, a very nice & long HDMI cable, a VGA cable, USB cable, and the power supply. The machine runs super quiet, whether that be my old age, or living in suburban NY, it's quieter than a whisper to me, but of course complaints are subjective. I'd just seen so many "dissatisfied" reviewers, you never can tell if it is 'just them' so to speak... Gladly, I've taken two weeks with this machine, and I have yet to give an actual complaint. good machine works well, the supposedly included 32gb USB drive is not there (bought it like new from Amazon warehouse) but I was able to use my own usb drive and it works. Tons of games even include some ps games. Marvel vs capcom, Marvel vs capcom 2, marvel vs street fighter etc etc Joysticks and buttons are excellent! i was able to pull moves as if i was at the arcades. Unfortunately, the left joystick the ball is loose... i'll try to find a way to fix it however if I couldn't, then i'll just have to return... but overall, good machine.

I was not able to use this device as the link/site given to download games never worked. So i had to return it. I lost monies paid for shipping and handling, to me as it was an abject failure! I strongly sugggest that the games be preloaded to avoid customer frustration and disapointment in thefuture. For me, buying this consol was an absolute failure and bad investment. First of all, the unboxing experience was very clean and very well thought out. Included in the box are the following: -The Arcade Cabinet -VGA Cable -HDMI Cable -USB Cable -Two Replacement Buttons -Power Cord The USB ports in the back can be used to also be plugged into consoles such as the Xbox One or PS4 to be used as a controller which is really nifty! Now let’s talk about the interface once you plug it in. The UI is okay. Every game installed on the system is organized from A to Z. The only thing I wish would be implemented was to have some sort of search bar cause scrolling through the entire list of 2000+ games can get tedious. The good news is that it can save what games you played recently on a separate page so you don’t have to navigate through the entire library. The console outputs at a full 1080p/60 FPS but there are a few games that dip below 60 frames at times. Most of these happen to the 3D games. Emulation is either really good or really off. Sometimes, there will be text that cuts off the screen but that might just be because of my TV settings. Now be warned, not every game on here is kid friendly. Luckily, there is an option to delete games off the system if you choose to. Although in my experience, I couldn’t find a way to restore them once deleted, so be careful what you take out. Overall, the system is very well built and it controls very smoothly! Just wish the interface was a little more clean and more user friendly. Other than that, it’s a nice emulation device!

This is a must buy. I promise you wont be disappointed. I got the one with the most games possible. I got it for my husband for christmas. He was so surprised and happy. I swear he talks about it to anybody and everybody. There are so many games to play its unreal. It took us 40 mins just to scroll through all the games. Our 11 year old daughter has been playing with us and we get to show her all the old school games. It shows great on your tv too. The hdmi cord is long enough to reach from the tv to the couch. The only 2 games we saw missing was zelda and zombies ate my neighbors. No big deal but if they ever add more games i will be getting the update for it. You can use your playstaion or xbox controller too if you want. We like the joy sticks. I did soooo much research and this is worth it compared to the big ones that only have like 3 or 4 games on it. If your just thinking about it im here to tell you get it. The games arent in order and there is no search bar but who cares your getting all those games for a great price.

yIt was so hard getting information about theese systems. There are so many variables but i decided on this one and am very happy. It is worth the extra money to get from amazon. If you order from china and theres a problem you have no recorse. Mine had a small issue one of the usb ports is dead small issue but amazon made it right. I couldn't say how many times amazon has gone above and beyond. With that being said it will save on 3d games, but not 2d. You can use it as a controller for ps4 but not xbox. The unit is truly plug and play no day one download. The design while abstract is pleasing and works well with the lights. The sticks are 8 way and sturdy. The buttons are middle of the road. Xbox style controllers will not work but ps3 will. The gamelist is great for arcade there are only a few missing. The menu system is the only area i wish would be improved it takes a while to navigate. I put a bunch of videos on yt. The day is soon coming that you wont be able to so cheaply get a complete history of gaming at such a low price and so easily accessible. Lastly they have used some neat smoothing techniques to insure modern displays dont show all the flaws and pixilation i give it a 95 out of a 100.

Two star rating is just for the hassle to download games in insufficient 32 GB flash drives, which could not hold all advertised numbers of games, and the unclear customer responses to the questions I sent. I was already aware that the console does not have the pre-loaded games in it, and I was okay with it. But the enclosed 32GB flash drive was not big enough to hold all advertised games. That means you will need to purchase at least 64 GB just to download all listed games. That is a bummer. I also tied to download the additional roms from the web link, but the games were not available to download. The most 3D games are sluggish and had bad graphics without major titles like Tekkens, Virtual Fighters, etc. I e-mailed a few times with requesting clarifications and questions, but the responses were unclear and did not provide us a full answer with a sincerity. The product material and built-quality is acceptable in terms of durability and sticks and buttons. Personally I have another pandora box with 1,500 retro games that costs a half of this unit. I prefer that one as it has pre-loaded games and super kind and expeditious customer services.

So this thing is so much fun. It would of got a perfect review but there are a few things that ding it. The amount of duplicate games, games are not totally in alphabetic order so there is a ton of hunting for games, and many of the 2 player games are played with only the player one joystick. But other than those few nit picky things this set up is fun. The color changing LED lights add a nice touch, finding out it does have an upgradable SD card slot is a plus. And it was very easy to set up and play.
