I've used this 7" monitor for a few years now. It has travelled around the globe and used for countless hours. In a 750 Sony battery it runs about 3hrs. I have to say for a reference monitor this will be hard to beat for the price point. If this one burned out tomorrow I'd buy another. It was so clear that I left the protective plastic cover on the screen until about a year ago. It's light weight as I use it mostly on handheld cameras doing live events. I do not have a negative thing to submit. Great product for the price.

I wanted to replace my Lilliput 663/O/P2 7" monitor with something better and not as heavy to put on the rear of my Sony FS7 (ironic that the camera and monitor models are FS7 huh?)I was a little bit apprehensive on buying this because it is very new and I couldn't find hardly any reviews on it. Let me say that initially I could not be any happier with this! Compared to the 663, it's way better all the way around. When I get my SDI cable in, it will be even better because all HDMI connections are inherent to a little bit of lag; but with SDI, it shouldn't be a problem.The resolution is sharp. Colors look really good. Brightness is good although I haven't tried it outside yet.The only thing is the screen itself is reflective and I'd prefer a matte screen vs glossy for that reason, but it really is a good purchase. I also wish it had a waveform and vectorscope like the 663 did, but the quality of the monitor is much much better so I'm happy.I'll update this later if I ever have any issues, but I can tell this is a really good buy.

Very comparable to $1000 models at less of a price. BNC & HDMI in and out. You can loop either BNC or HDMI but you cant loop BNC to HDMI either way. But for the price it works great.

Loved it until only a few months into owning it a clump of pixels just died. it's pretty useless now since I used it to check exposure and as a confidence monitor. I would exchange it and hope this one was just a dud, but it's out of the short return window. So I'm stuck with it.

I own two of these. I must like them. They make great on camera monitors for my Black Magic URSA G2 Broadcast cameras. The picture is sharp. It has more features than you will ever need. The weight is insignificant and it attaches to an arm very well with its numerous 1/4-20 mounting holes. It comes with a sun shade but I've never had to use it because the image is so bright.

Awesome price for a SDI monitor. Purchased to use as a camera viewfinder and this was perfect for that. Comes with hood and hot shoe adapter. I will buy another this year for sure.
