This is the second down of these alternative comforters I have bought, mainly because they are exactly what I wanted without spending an arm, a leg and my first-born child to get it. Previously I had to have a comforter on top of me to help keep warm. Now I only use this and forget the other comforter. This keeps me nice and warm in our temperatures in the teens. Because of this new one, I can stay asleep all night without having to pull the old comforter back over me since I somehow kicked it off during the night. Please don't pass this by when you are looking for a very nice down-filled comforter that will hold its shape due to the stitching. No more wadded up down. Hurray! It will be appropriate for summer time too since it is so lightweight.

I love this duvet! I was a little reluctant since I read some really poor reviews, but I am so glad I bought it. I even bought another in a king for my bed. First of all, the duvet is really soft! It came in a very bright white and very clean. It didn't have a chemical smell or anything, which was part of my worry. Secondly, it really does look like the photo. It IS fluffy, but not overly so. It isn't super thick or heavy, so it will be good for all year. I was worried I would have to buy a separate one for a few months of the year... but that isn't an issue. I don't know what people expected as far as fluffiness.. it isn't too fluffy or too thin. Mine had a perfect amount of stuffing, and the stuffing was even throughout. Thirdly, the dimensions are spot on. My duvet cover fits over it very well, with very little room on either side. (My duvet cover is a weird size.) The duvet doesn't slip around or bunch up at all. Lastly, I haven't had a problem with the inside material getting all funky after washing it. It says it has box-stitching to prevent shifting, and it works well so far. I really do love this duvet. I couldn't be more happy with the price. I've purchased other, more expensive ones, and this one beats those by a lot. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice duvet. I can't see why people had issues with theirs, unless they received ones that were defective or something.

I'm still in awe, over 2 years after getting this, that it cost only $35. This is hands down the best comforter or blanket I've ever experienced, anywhere. It's lightweight and just fluffy enough - never flattens out (has been in constant use for 2 1/2 years, and washed and dried dozens of times) - it gives me such joy to sleep at night. I have goose down pillows and have always loved them, but have had terrible luck with goose down comforters. When I ordered this, I didn't expect the quality to be so good. I live in Maine, and this comforter stays cool in the heat of summer and so warm but breathable in the winter. When we lost power for a few days and the nights were cold, we never noticed with this blanket. I'm a warm sleeper, I get overheated easily, so blankets have always been an issue for me. I have never loved a blanket as much as this. It stays cool, and it is so soft to the touch. My cats love it in winter. When I first ordered, I was reluctant because of the white color - I didn't intend on buying a duvet cover for it. I though it would become fairly dirty as some white things do. But no, it comes out white and clean from every wash (and have never needed to use bleach on it thus far.) I still can't get over the price. I know people with comforters they've spent hundreds on, that don't compare to the comfort of this. I want to shout it from the rooftops! Ah, for those of us that can afford $35 for a comforter, this is the only one you'll ever need to get. 2.5 years of nightly use with 2 little boys, 4 cats and myself, and not a tear/hole to be found. Buy it now!

I’ve been using this comforter for a few months, and overall, it’s pretty comfy. It fits true to size for a queen bed, just the right dimensions to cover the bed nicely without hanging awkwardly or feeling too small. It’s super soft and keeps me nice and warm during cooler nights without feeling too heavy or bulky. My sleep quality definitely improved since I started using it. That said, it’s definitely too warm for the hotter months. I tried using it when the weather got warmer, and it felt a bit stuffy and overheated me. So if you tend to sleep hot or need something year-round, this might not be the best choice. Also, I personally don’t use the corner tabs at all, they’re there, but I haven’t found them necessary. The comforter itself holds up well on the bed without shifting much. One thing I appreciate is that it doesn’t wrinkle easily. After washing, it stays smooth and looks good without much fluffing. The only downside is the initial shedding of white lint, which took a few washes to calm down. If you’re looking for a cozy comforter to get through the cooler months without breaking the bank, this one works well. Just be ready to swap it out when the heat hits!

I own several down an alternative down comforter set. I noticed that when I stay in hotels also. I have a Vacation rental that I wanted to put some really comfy comforters in so I ordered several. This one is my absolute favorite and one of the most affordable too! What I like about it is the blocks are smaller than most comforter blocks are. I believe this is going to keep the filling more evenly spread out. Also this is super supersoft. I read someone else’s review that talked about how soft it was, it’s very accurate. It’s very well stitched and I would say a light to medium weight. My vacation rental is up in the mountains and I wanted something that would work year-round. I throw an extra blanket for the winter time, and will just use this in the summer. It’s absolutely beautiful I’m ordering another.
