There is a tolerance of (+/-)1/8" PETG is a thermoplastic sheet used in engineering applications. I am using it on top of a 4x2 reptile enclosure that has a screen top to hold in humidity- so I cant speak to every application- but his is flexible enough to contour and thin enough that it could be cut with shears (I am leaving it whole).
