I ordered this to go in a big, old cast iron pot that belonged to my husband's grandmother. I stuffed the pot with straw and perched her in there as if she was sitting on a next. We have several (live) chickens on our farm and this gal is the cutest addition to our front porch!

This little hen is absolutely adorable and she arrived early! (Thank you, Amazon!) She's made of resin, but the details and colors are gorgeous. This addition to my patio was well- worth the price I paid.

Love this Hen. All my nieces and nephews who come over are just fascinated by this little girl and ask to pet her. If you're into country/farm style then you will love this hen.

LOVE this item! Purchased it to set up by my vegetable garden alongside an old milk can to create a little vignette - looks super realistic and meets my wishes to be able to have real chickens since I can’t where I live lol. I sprayed it with a clear outdoor spf no fade protectant and so far so good with hold-up.

This little hen is headed to Pennsic War (SCA) where she will grace the front of our tent for 2 weeks along with her new friend, Sir Francis Bacon (our adorable piglet mascot). She's about the weight of a real hen, a little smaller than I expected (but don't go by me, I'm estimate-challenged! LOL) and she looks like a live hen. Seriously. Well, except her feathers aren't, well, feathers. But she is Perfect! And will look adorable in her little nest camping. Thanks!!!

It’s very cute and well made. I bought it to go with a rooster I have, but it’s smaller than I expected. If it had been more realistic size I’d give it 5 stars. As far as looks it does look real.

Happy with my purchase. I have purchased this chicken to match the rooster and chicks that I bought for my backyard garden. She arrived safe and sound with no damage. I can't wait for the snow to melt! Would happily buy again.
