I've used it for over 10 yrs. and find it doesn't wash out after you wash your hair rinse after rinse. Meaning you won't see color going down the drain like a lot of other brands. It does fade over time but that's to be expected using the dark brown color. It covers gray hair the best that I have found and I have tried many before using this one. I dye my own hair at home. Can't stand the hrs. it takes at a salon. The 45 min. I leave it on my hair I am doing things around the house. Love it!
