Middle School Internet Research Projects (Grades 5-8)

I bought this to supplement my 7th grade daughter's Social Studies. This is a great way to cover a variety of topics while also teaching important Internet research skills! You could also use this book as a foundation to learning about different topics around the world!

This was a great purchase. I can’t wait to get started using this as a way to teach new information and reenforce research strategies in manageable bites. It makes research interesting for children who have difficulty with one large research project.

My only issues is pages are not numbered and do not tear out. Being a homeschool mom rarely will wevdo workbooks front to bsck so if pages do not tear out and are not numbered its harder to implement immediately into our curriculum. Now I have to go in and number each page so I can put it on her daily assignment. I would not recommend for eighth grade this is more of a 5th and 6th grade book the way It Is laid out

Have yet to actually use this. Quality is great. I did thumb through and the topics seem to be really well varied.

I liked that most of the pages asked for the source where the information was found. Good educational topics for my sixth graders to use for internet research.

Didn’t care for some of the search recommendations in this book but it’s good for what I need it for and I just skipped over what I didn’t care for

Really like this book for worksheets. A little heavy on North Carolina, but otherwise I’m very pleased with the diversity of topics. Would definitely order again.

If they must be online, then why not make it worth their educational wild? My middle schooler earns internet/game time everytime he completes a subject.
