Spinnaker Men's 43mm Fleuss Automatic Watch with Leather Strap SP-5055

This is a very nice looking watch, much better than in the photos. The quality and finish is excellent and befitting of a watch three times the price. I have several Spinnaker watches and they haven't disappointed yet. Highly recommended.

Paid 160. Happy for that, but not sure it's worth more as it is often listed. Nice watch, colour matched date dial is a nice feature. Bezel and strap colours are much more muted than the pictures suggest though, so be aware. I changed the strap for a diver band. Lume is terrible.

An Automatic watch that keeps good time and uses the trusted Seiko NH 35 Movement. Spinnaker make some nice affordable watches with a good quality finish. I Purchased the Red dial Model (SP-5055-07) on 3rd April 2023, the light reflects nicely of the dial and the Sapphire crystal lens, it gives a nice pale blue reflection when the light bounces of it at an angle. The watch feels and looks like a £500 Automatic and quietly, in fact i find it hard to hear it. Spinnaker also provide a service & repair team should you ever require it and that gives peace of mind. A nicely presented watch from a company that has been around since 1977.

Beautiful watch, has quickly become a favourite in my collection! It's a good size though so a smaller wrist size might struggle a bit. I'm about a 7.25 inch and seems fine.

My Seiko watch finally gave up the ghost so I needed a replacement. The Seiko cost me over £300 some years ago but now my days are short, I wasn't prepared to spend so much. What I really wanted was an automatic watch without the faff of buying a replacement battery and fitting it. The Spinnaker arrived, quickly and very well packed. ADVICE TO PURCHASERS: the instructions are not included with the watch. To read them one will need to log on to the manufacturer's website and download a PDF (make certain you choose the correct version - 5055 - of the Spinnaker.) Setting up the watch's functions is straightforward but I found pulling out and pushing in the crown to set the time and date was unnecessarily stiff and required a lot of turning in order to secure the crown back to its final position. The luminosity of the hands, dial and bezel will not be apparent unless the watch is exposed to natural daylight for some time and fades too quickly. The window displaying the date is small and you will need good eyesight to read it. My watch was supplied with a leather strap which is good quality and has the bonus of a second loop to secure the end of it preventing it catching on a cuff. The downloadable PDF shows how to change the strap from a metal to leather version and vice versa. How long the leather will remain clean is questionable if the watch is worn all day. Considering the price I paid for the Spinnaker, I consider it was a good buy and perhaps I sound over critical of its qualities; I leave this to future purchasers. Overall, I am pleased with this 'budget' watch and if I had a longer to live I would have bought a better version I'm sure.

For the money I think this is a fantastic watch, I love the colour and styling. I didn't think I could get an automatic with a 'back window' for this price but this watch has good reviews online and is making a great start to my first 'proper' watch collection.

Fleuss rejuvenated Spinnaker has been able to put in its heart n soul to rejuvenate a SCUBA as Fleuss would have definitely imagined way back in 1858 for the 1st time in History… Immaculate workmanship in terms of Color , Material and Finish throughout the timepiece. Dial size 43mm is made commensurate to the Wider Wearing Wrists , for me could hv bn a Sweetspot at 40 mm with a lug with of 20mm. It fits well with a Leather strap ( the Version I have of SP 5505-0C ). The Lagoon Green color of the Dial is soothing with applied Indices and Luminous markers n part of fixed bezel too. With a tight Screw dn crown the movement is a time tested smooth sweeping Miyota 8215 Classic Automatic Japanese marvel, yielding 40-41 hrs of power reserve. Veramente bello e fatto bene, la cassa in acciaio inox ha una buona finitura satinata messa in risalto da un elegante sto datura lucida, insieme alla meccanica giapponese fa che sia allo stesso tempo un orologio affidabile e preciso. Il quadrante sabbia mi piace tanto, avrei preferito gli indici e le sfere di un colore diverso ma devo dire che si legge bene anche così. Mi sarebbe piaciuto di più un fondello inciso al posto di quello con il movimento a vista, il volano di carica semplicemente serigrafato non rende giustizia all'estetica. Il cinturino in cuoio è da testare nel tempo....... magari al mare. Ghiara a 120 scatti unidirezionale un po' difficile da girare... non c'è molta presa per farlo. Luminosità al buio ok, si illumina anche la ghiera. Tenuto conto del prezzo ritengo che sia veramente un ottimo acquisto, consigliatissimo.
