This step-up transformer can convert voltage from 110-120V input to 220-240V output that allows using Asia Europe 220-240V appliances in USA, Canada or Mexico. The power of this transformer is up to 3000W that is capable to run high power appliances such as hair dryers, iron, hair straighteners, coffee maker or some power tools etc. The transformer is in pure white. It has high quality, durable and exquisite case with round corners and compact size. My previous 1500W transformer is bigger and thicker than this. Although it is compact, it is quite heavy and weighted about 7 kg. It may be the weight of the heavy metal coils and the sturdy casing. There are convection vents on both sides for heat dissipation and each side has a universal outlet with multiple plug holes. The power button is on the front side with LED indicator for easy control and observation of the operation status. In fact, this transformer also allows upright placement because its power cord is set at one side instead of its back where 2 suction cups are added for upright standing purpose. For vertical placement, the power button will change to the top that is still easy control. Moreover, one side with power cord may become the back where a constantly use appliance can be plugged into this back outlet for better and tidy appearance. The other outlet in front is then reserved for occasionally use devices that can be plugged in/out easily at the front. I prefer this flexible design of this transformer. In addition, the heavy weight of the transformer together with the suction cups can fix it securely on table or countertop. The suction cups are quite strong in sucking. Once fixed, I need a thin ruler to insert at the bottom for releasing the suction cups first and then move the transformer to other position.
