Are you kidding me ?
I was a little hesitant about buying a "Used โ Mint" TV, especially such an expensive one, but this turned out to be an incredible experience. The TV arrived extremely well packaged in the original LG box with all the proper protection. Cosmetically, it looked brand new - no scratches, dents, or signs of previous use, not even the mounting holes. The biggest surprise was checking the TV information after setup: it showed 0 total power-on hours. It genuinely appears I received a TV that was either never used or never activated. Picture quality is absolutely stunning. The LG G5 lives up to the hype with incredible brightness, perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and amazing HDR performance. Dolby Vision content looks phenomenal, and the overall build quality is top-notch. For anyone on the fence about purchasing a "Used โ Mint" unit from this seller, my experience was outstanding. I saved hundreds of dollars compared to buying new and ended up with what appears to be a brand-new TV. I would absolutely buy from this seller again. Highly recommended!

Best of LG OLEDs 2025
I really like the G5 OLED. Itโs a huge upgrade over the last-gen G4 and the cheaper C5. LGโs new RGB tandem panel finally catches up to the QD-OLED panels from Samsung/Sony in terms of color vibrance and accuracy. QD-OLED still has a slight edge in vibrance, but Tandem OLED far exceeds them in terms of peak brightness, leading to more detail in highlights. This is a great TV for a home theater. The 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate are also ideal for gaming. Personally, I was torn between LGโs G5 and Sonyโs Bravia 8 II. Both are excellent TVs and you wonโt be disappointed with either. Ultimately the reason I went with this TV was its lower price. If youโre the type of person who wants a premium experience with every bell and whistle, there are a few minor drawbacks: - No DTS:X surround sound support (Dolby Atmos or 5.1 only) - ATSC 1 tuner (limited to 720p/1080i instead of 1080p for over the air broadcasts) - Poor quality speakers (soundbar recommended) - No stand included (comes with wall mount) - No HDR10+ support (HLG/HDR10/Dolby Vision only) I can overlook its flaws, as I primarily purchased this for its display panel and the panel is outstanding. Most buyers will use their own soundbars or surround setups anyways, bypassing the default speakers. ATSC 1 isnโt an issue if you receive television over the internet or cable. HDR10+ wouldโve been a nice bonus for wider support, but in most cases Dolby Vision is preferable when the media source supports it. The lack of DTS:X is baffling though, as itโs included on LGโs older TVs. Overall, Iโd recommend buying this if the price is right. But also be sure to compare current prices against the upcoming G6 and C6H from LG to get the best deal.

Iโll never buy another LCD; this TV is worth it!
OLED Lives up to the hype! We have a 12+ year old Panny plasma 1080P tv that we keep in a guest room and Iโve always noted that the picture quality was still better than our newest LCDโs. That got me into checking into an OLED. I did my research and checked YouTube reviews and the LG seemed to be THE one to get if you get one, so I pulled the trigger. WOW!! The picture quality is unreal. The perfect blacks and bright colors will blow you away. Iโve rewatched several movies just to see how incredible they look on this TV. I do suggest searching picture settings on YouTube for this model. There are several videos that will give you great tips for the best pictures quality possible. Set up was a breeze and the interface is easy to navigate. I wish the remote had backlit buttons but Iโll live. Sound quality is above average. The mounting bracket that comes with it is a plus. Pretty easy process to mount. If you want a tv with an absolute beautiful picture, this is the one. Yes, the prices for LCDโs are considerably lower but you will not get a picture quality this good.

The Perfect TV Upgrade!
I recently ordered this TV to replace a 47โ TV. The delivery crew from Amazon were on time, professional as they unpackaged the TV in my garage removing the packaging and carrying it into my designated room. I required the help of 2 friends to help move and lift the television onto the table stand I purchased. It comes only with a wall mount bracket. For this size/weight (78 lbs) TV - it is definitely a 2-3 person job. The TV start up took two plugs - the power and audio cable for an external speaker. With no set up booklet is was easy peasy! Obviously some tweaking with the picture feature will be needed to satisfy your personal preference. It is large, solid and it is beautiful. Streaming apps and a Firestick were easily added. A great feature is the screen - it is NON GLARING and when on in a bright room with lights on or with windows thereโs no reflections on the glass front display. The only con for me was the remote control bc it was initially difficult to navigate an air mouse. I highly recommend this 65โ OLED TV.

Gorgeous display.
Pros: * Brightness. Pushes 2000+ nits in HDR. It's wild how bright it can get. * Colors. I upgraded from an LG CX and I'm seeing shades of color I've never seen before. * Refresh rate. 165hz on PC is super smooth. * Very low input latency. This TV's very fast in game mode. * Crazy fast pixel response times. * Metal frame makes it easier to handle and move around than the CX was. * Cable management channel on the back keeps things super clean. Cons: * The remote lacks a set of buttons for switching inputs directly. Having to push the menu key and hold it to change inputs feels clunky. I may end up getting a new remote so I don't have to deal with that. * You have to enable 165hz mode. It's not a big deal but it's tucked in the menu in a way that wasn't very intuitive to find. I thought I needed a new HDMI cable until I found it. It's located in Settings > General > Game Optimizer, which you have to enable to turn on 165hz mode. It's great once it's on, though. * Gamma flicker when there's a significant fluctuation in frame rate while gaming on PC. It's only noticeable when there's a big drop but it's hard to miss when that happens. Frame gen helps smooth that out but shader compilation can cause an occasional flash. Inherent problem with gaming on OLED. * The fast pixel response times make it really hard to avoid judder in panning shots on low frame rate content. Some movies handle it fine, others can look like a slide show. I'm still tweaking the de-judder setting to see if I can find a balance I'm happy with. Inherent problem with OLED caused by the crazy fast pixel response times. I tested several very dark games, including Cronos, Dead Space remake, and Death Stranding 2 at night to see if I could spot any dithering. I can't. Image looks pristine aside from the listed issues, which are all inherent problems with OLED.

Defective after 7 months - LG giving us the runaround
Bought tv in late Nov. It arrived in early Dec. Had professionals mount on wall. TV worked fine for 7 months. Then in July, picture went dark and we noticed something like burn marks along the bottom right edge. 15 burn marks in total, all similar size and equidistant apart. Immediately called LG customer service and they tried to say we damaged the tv, even after we told them the tv was mounted 7 months earlier and not physically touched since. We also mentioned that we had the same tv in a smaller size, which was also mounted and had no problems with the tv. LG held firm and said we damaged the tv so it was not covered under warranty. We continued to insist it was a manufacturer's defect so LG finally said a repair technician would have to look at the tv and determine how the damage was caused. They told me to call a repair and gave me the names of three repair shops. The nearest shop was 1.5 hours away and the farthest was 2.5 hours away in another state. Needless to say, we do not live in their service areas. LG finally said they would find a repair tech and estimated 7-10 days to set up the appointment. Every few days, LG would send a text message saying it was taking longer than expected but my request remains a priority. Finally, after more than two weeks, LG requested I send the proof of purchase and the serial sticker on the back of the tv. I sent both same day and asked LG to acknowledge receipt and inform of next steps... no reply. Two days later, I asked for acknowledgement again... no reply. Two days later, LG sent a text saying they tried to get a hold of me but I did not reply so they were closing the case. I immediately called customer service. The rep sent the same request for PoP and serial sticker from a different phone number. I sent both while on the phone and she confirmed receipt. She said she would put me on hold while adding the documents to my case and ensuring it was reopened. While on hold, the connection was lost and I received a text message from LG saying "Will confirm once documents attached - send you text later." ------ Obviously, we are extremely frustrated. We have asked to speak to Supervisors multiple times, but LG always refuses. We have asked for a refund or a new tv, but LG says they can't confirm the damage was a manufacturers defect. This has been dragging on for nearly a month and there is no end in sight. I can only conclude that LG is trying to find ways to get out of honoring their warranty. Will never buy from LG again.

All you need it love...
That's how I feel about this TV. Always wanted a home theater! This is the perfect TV for that. The picture is perfect! The blacks are black, the reds are red and all the colors seem to pop right off the screen. There are so many ways to fine tune this picture to make it perfect for you. Its super light for it's size and easily hung on the wall. Set up was a breeze and we were watching our 1st show within 30 mins of unpacking it. The home screen is very nicely set up. Its a bit of a hassle to find the page where you can move the app icons around to suit your taste, but once you rearrange all your 'channels' it looks great. If you leave it on the home page for a few minutes, some gentle cafe style music starts to play and the screen saver changes to nice generic pics. There are plenty of LG Channels (like cable tv) that includes ways to search by topic (like drama, crime, sports, news) There are even a bunch of music channels which come in handy while cleaning. We hooked up a bluetooth surround sound system and that was easy peasy too! I'll tell anyone who asks..LG DOES TV RIGHT! (this is our 2nd LG tv..our 1st is 55 inch in the living room )

Fabulous Picture But Some Quirks, Too
Our 17-year old Panasonic plasma TV was starting to get 'glitchy' and I didn't want anything drastic to happen during the World Series - all of the reviews for the G5 LG OLED TVs were very convincing and I couldn't agree more but with a couple of exceptions. I use a Marantz Cinema 60 receiver with KEF Q-series speakers (big ol' floor speakers, table-top speakers for the surround sound and a massive subwoofer - watching movies with this system rivals any movie theater) and I connect the TV to the receiver with an optical 'cable'. However, the volume that comes out of the TV is low and it shouldn't be. I worked with LG tech support and they said they were going to send someone out but that never happened - many online reviews complained of the same thing. I can compensate by cranking up the volume on the Marantz but something's wrong. I went so far as to request a return for the TV from Amazon but changed my mind and decided to keep the TV, its low volume notwithstanding. The volume level from the TV's internal speakers was fine but they don't compare to my stereo system. Through all the research I did, it never became clear that the TV comes with a wall mount bracket. It was simple enough to install although the printed instructions were terrible but the video on LG's website made it much easier. Speaking of printed instructions, the TV comes with none and the online user's manual is a complete joke - it mostly covers how to connect peripheral devices using hexadecimal code. There are on-screen instructions but they're very weak. Call me old fashioned but I prefer a complete, detailed printed manual. Also, there are very few connection ports on the back of the TV - I can no longer watch DVDs from my ancient Sony carousel DVD player as the TV has no component video input ports. Progress, I guess. I love the way the TV sits so close to the wall and I thought I would like the Gallery+ feature but I don't. Regardless, I enjoy the TV and I'm pleased with my decision to keep it.
