Really easy to use, flight just slots in and you squeeze for a perfect size little slot, then open out the flight, insert one of the supplied rings and pop the flight in the stem. Allows the flight to fit securely right to the base of the stem, reducing the chance of the flight becoming detached and protecting the stem from following throws. Pocket sized and well constructed.

At a price of £5.99 the 'MageRabbit Dart Flight Hole Punch Tool' is really a no brainer for anyone who is as bad at darts as my family and I are.Included is the punch and a packet of 100 metal O-rings that help secure the flight to the dart. Construction quality is great and the punched hole looks perfect to my eye.In an evening where many flights fall off normally, there is a marked difference with almost zero coming off. The only downside is that the rings are really hard to find if you do drop a flight - so have a magnet handy if this will be a concern.A really useful tool to have for us and has saved a lot of abuse to our flights.I did not feel any difference in balance to the darts, there appears to be very little difference in weight to a normal flight and a flight with a hole punched an an O-ring added (less than 0.05 of a gram). I would guess that as you get better and if there was any possibility of you noticing the difference, you would probably either have better darts or not need the assistance.

Arrived as part of the Amazon vine review programme.Very sceptical about this but pleasantly surprised at how good this is.Pros:Very simple to operate, flatten and insert the flight, clamp to push the hole. Insert a ring and slide onto shaft. Easy.The machining of the punch tools is very good, very smooth with no sharp edges.The included rings are thicker than those I have which provides better stability for the flight.I was very sceptical about this however, after several uses it makes complete sense why these even exist.Cons:None, very clever simple to use piece of kit.Conclusion:If you're forever picking up your dart flights then this tool for you and makes playing darts that much easier. Perfect and easy to use punch with100 Dart shaft Rings. This nifty device allows the iser to punch a slot in the Dart Flight so the shaft ring holds the flight on the shaft when you get tight grouping. This saves you having to pick your flights up off the floor every other throw. Best thing is, it is so easy to use. Simply place a flight into the punch, press down and the slot is placed in the correct place every time. Brilliant.

Does the job. Cuts cleanly and is really easy to use. You can't physically put the flight in the wrong way, as it's shaped to fit into the correct place. Comes with a little pack of rings, which have three layers to them, so they're pretty solid and can survive a bit of knocking about. Having your flights clipped like this does definitely stop them popping off all over the place and I think they're a nice balance between traditional flights and fancy integrated systems. Good solid little tool that I'd say most every dart player should have to hand.

These simply punches a hole in the flight so you can place a metal ring (which 100 are provided) on the shaft and in turn stops the flight coming off.So much frustration can be solved with this little device. The quality of the device is pretty much the same as every other hole punch on the market it seems. I have a Winmau version from years ago and it looks identical with the only difference was the latter is around a couple of quid more than the MageRabbit.Overall Its a simply yet effective tool than help the flight popping off while also protecting the shaft.
