Caframo Ultimate 747 12V 2-Speed 7" Fan w/Lighter Plug

This little fan puts out a good amount of air, we have used it on the boat in both the DC outlet at the Helm, and by using a DC to AC converter which allows for regular outlet plugin. Even with the converter it works great, and our guests that need a bit more airflow on calm days have been happy or the below deck areas that don't have a DC plugin I can use the fan without issues. It really moves a decent amount of air for how small it is and although touching the blades when spinning gives you a "jolt" its more of a surprise than hurting at all.(which has been a fun joke on the boat, me telling people to be careful or it'll "bite" you..)

I have bought Caframo fans many times over the years - for every boat we have ever owned. They are fabulous - a perfect personal fan, utterly quiet, with a tiny power draw. We put them everywhere, and generally leave them running day and night. Don't bother with other brands, thinking these are expensive - Caframos are superior to anything else available.

Living in a small camper, we need good air circulation, without the noise of cheap-o fans. (We sleep, watch TV within a few feet of this thing) This fan, as advertised, is very quiet, and moves alot of air without high electricity usage. In our experience, they last about a year and half to two years before starting to crap out, then we buy a new one. That being said, the sound coming even an old Caframo fan is about 25% of that coming from a typical $10-$15 compact fan. Definitely recommend.

I bought this for camping in our van, since it can get warm in there at times. I had an old 12V clip-on fan, but it had only one speed, which was too strong and made too much noise. This fan has two speeds, and both are quiet. I ended up buying the optional clip-on mounting bracket, instead of using the included suction cup or permanent mount. I think this will work well on camping trips this summer, and is smaller and quieter than my old one.

I was a little afraid of using a fan without a guard, but the husband was insistent on giving it a go. It does put off a lot of breeze and easy to install. I accidentally got my fingers too close and was struck by the blade while turning it off and can verify it didn't hurt me. We used the fans on our sailboat and in our RV.

For the price I thought I’d be getting just a tornado of air from this fan.I got the fan for use in the cab of a small delivery van that has no AC. The fan has two speeds and I wish it had more, it doesn’t move a lot of air as I expected especially for the price. It is quiet though if you keep the blades free of dust otherwise it’s seems to get thrown off balance and makes a vibrating noise.

For the size, these fans move a tremendous amount of air. I have two on my sailboat and they make the cabin bearable on all but the hottest of days. They are a little pricey, but one of mine is over ten years old and it is still going strong with a new replacement blade.

Strong 2 speed fan with open blades that do not hurt you when you accidentally put your hand into them. Pretty quiet at slow speed, a bit noisier at high. Relatively heavy due to large, for its size, motor. Only compliant is that the suction base does not remain stuck for long even on a very smooth surface.

Nice bit of kit. I have it in my boat to keep the air fresh over the winter - it drained the batteries, but that was the fault of the solar regulator it was connected to - which I've returned.

This little fan is impressive in two ways. One, in the amount of air it moves relative to its size, and two, the tiny amount of electricity it draws. Perfect for the boat.The suction cup that it comes with is not great though. It is very stiff, and as such, very hard to use as a suction cup. Would be advised to use the screw down base if using this fan in a single location.

Awesome little fan. I am using it in my ice fishing shack which is 8x12. It circulates the heat with ease on low. Also it seems to be very easy on the battery, using very little power at all. Also, it is about as quiet as a fan can be. Love it.

Pros: Low amps, easy install, moves lots of air.Cons: could be a little quieter, but not so negative to stop me from buying four!!

Fantastic product exactly what I was expecting. Perfect for boating. Can’t believe how little power it uses! And the fan speeds are super powerful

Fans work very well and move the air well. The suction cup part doesn't work at all regardless of the surface it is used on. Had to find another way to mount them but they saved our bacon in the trailer when encounter desert heat this summer.

This fan beats my expectations, it moves a lot a air very quietly.

Low noise, low power draw, just what we needed for our off the grid camping trailer. Plus it's made in Canada.
