This is a great kids toy and one of the best I've ever bought for my nephews. They love making cotton candy, and the set of powders that you can get separately from the same brand are a great deal. I highly recommend this for birthdays Christmas or any other holidays.

Its a bit more difficult than i thought it would be, but thats just because its small and i have carpal tunnel so spinning is difficult for me, but so fun, and kids were super happy for cotton candy

Aesthetically, this cotton candy maker has the cool old school carnival looked (even if it is about 1/10th the size). Functionally, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It makes delicious cotton candy. That said, the machine itself isn't very big, which means that the sugar dish is pretty small as well so the output isn't going to be very high and you might get a decent fistful of cotton candy if you do it just right. One thing that I do wish this company would have included with this machine is a set of cotton candy cones. Instead, it came with some skewer-sized bamboo sticks that do not do a very good job of spinning the cotton candy. As far as cleaning goes, it isn't terribly difficult to disassemble but I would definitely recommend being as careful as you can while making the candy, otherwise you'll end up with a ton of burnt, hard sugar all over the steel parts of the machine which can be a little bit of a pain to clean up. All-in-all, not a bad product.

Waste a lot more than uses. Followed instructions and we get small cotton candy balls. Most of the sugar ends up on side walls
