The product’s wood was a bit rough so my husband has sanded it lightly and given it a coat of varnish as an additional protector. This was a gift but there are no real instructions on how best to fit the item and where, so as to optimise the bees coming and using this little bee house... shame a s that would have made it much better.

This was purchased in order to supplement our existing bee hotels, I foolishly didn't check the dimensions and upon arrival it was evident that this would not really work as another bee hotel, most of the wholes are simply too small for bees - so, caveat emptor, always check the dimensions.

Great bug house bought as a Christmas gift for a friend having purchased one for myself a few years ago and been very pleased with quality & durability. Arrived on Christmas Eve so just in time.

The roof and sides with a tad more over hang in the front would make it better

I bought one of these back in 2021 and the quality was good ,however I bought another one last week but have had to return it. The quality was very different with most of the holes are badly finished and much too small
