Great food, and very informative... It’s not a 6 AM class, but it’s AMAZING!!!
Love Bettina’s recipes! I am fortunate enough to benefit from some classes through work, and have purchased both this cookbook and her 7 Day Vegan Challenge cookbook also. I have not had an opportunity to make everything, but the recipes I have made are a home run!I love how the book is organized, the content is broken down in basic terms like “Feasts & Sharing”, so you don’t have to be a pro in the kitchen to know that meal will prepare larger quantities of foods. The BEST part is that not only is the book written in the metric system, but the US measurements are included right alongside the metric measurement, so I am not constantly asking Alexa to do that conversion for me.Lastly, the tips are epic! Example - macadamia ricotta, who knew!!! I have an allergy to dairy, but I didn’t when I was younger and I MISS DAIRY! knowing how to replace textures and tastes that simulate the comfort and nostalgia of consumption of dairy is important to me.I am not vegan, but I am making a conscious effort to eat cleaner, and so I prepare and eat a lot of vegan meals. Bettina quickly became a favorite chef follow!Thank you Bettina!!! I look forward to so much more!-Mel

Easy, healthy, beautiful
This is the best cookbook I’ve ever owned or read. Not only is this book visually stunning (right down to gorgeous bright orange page edges), it gets 5 stars in all categories: it doesn’t rely on meat substitutes or hard to find ingredients, it concentrates on real, whole, nutritious foods, each recipe is a marvelous complexity of flavors, all of the recipes are easy to make - novices in the kitchen will feel very comfortable, and each recipe when complete appears on your table like a well composed work of art. With many cookbooks you can not only never achieve the right consistency or flavor, but nailing the presentation is also a challenge. Not the case here. What you see in these beautifully photographed pages is what you’ll get. I’ve been vegan for nearly 10 years and have done plenty of exploring and experimenting with recipes from many chefs. Bettina stands head and shoulders above them all. She’s combined all of the elements on my wish list (vegan, real, simple, healthy, gluten-free, and attractive) into each recipe. I’ll be gifting copies of this book frequently. Congrats on a beautifully executed project and thank you! ... now off to enjoy some Black Rice Pudding.

A great collection of healthy recipes.
I Love the recipes in this book. We have been working diligently at improving our diet over the last few years and have purchased several similar cookbooks in that time frame. I believe this collection of recipes to be every bit as good or better than most. I noticed an earlier reviewer said they only found 5 or so recipes they were interested in. I easily found 30+. My recent advice to a friend, “Start with one healthy recipe a week and the add one each week there after.” Congrats to the author and Thanks for the effort in assembling these recipes. Tb

BEST cookbook I have ever owned!!
Even though I eat Vegetarian, and this cookbook is Vegan, the recipes are not only super simple to put together, I can always add a sprinkle of cheese, etc. if I want to. It is packed with flavor, full range of nutrients needed and unique recipes, yet simple to follow. I gave this book a chance due to a recommendation from Mark Bajerski, and I couldn't be happier with it!! This is hands down the best cookbook out there! It is more than I expected and lives up to the name "Happy Food". :) Just looking through it the first day brought me great joy! I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone, not just the Vegan eater. But if you're thinking of mixing in some Vegan meals to your menu, THIS.........THIS is the book you want!!! Thank you Bettina for creating this with so much love! :)

Quality cookbook for those looking for Vegan options.
I liked that this cookbook had pictures of each dish, the instructions were easy to understand, but some of the dishes are a bit complex if you are looking for quick/easy meals.

Great vegan cookbook!
I've tried only a couple of recipes in here so far, and loved them. In particular, the chocolate caramel bars are my absolute favorite dessert now. So rich and so satisfying to someone who doesn't eat artificial or granulated sugars. I made these as a desert for my family at Thanksgiving and everyone loved them- even the non vegan, sugar eaters. :)

A beautiful and practical cookbook for anyone interested in vegan and/or gluten-free cooking. Most of the time, I cook for one or two people, so I love that there's a whole chapter called "home alone" designed for small parties. The icons for reach recipe are really useful too (i.e., indicates whether something is batch cookable or freezable). I also like that there's a balance between healthy, light options and comfort foods. And best of all, a basics section that has helped me save money already (homemade nut milks, yogurts, cheeses, etc.)!

Thank you Bettina! This is my new favourite recipe book. Absolutely love it! Love it not only for the recipes but also for all the tips, the how to's, the attractive layout and appealing photos and well designed index. I appreciate the fact that, so far, the recipes I've tried are as you said "the methods are short, easy and quick".Merci Bettina! Votre livre de recette est mon livre de référence de choix et je m'y réfère tellement souvent que je le laisse sorti sur ma table à café. Il est parfait pour quiconque fait une transition à une alimentation végétalienne ou tente d'intégrer quelques recettes santé à leur mode de vie. Superbe conception graphique qui donne envie d'essayer les recettes. S'adresse particulièrement aux gens qui recherchent des recettes simples et relativement rapides.

Great book for all cooks, not just vegans.
I love the way this book is set out with different sections for the type of meal the recipes are good for. Also the fact that it has measurements in metric, imperial and cups, so works for any country. Bettina Bordi has a lovely writing style, she draws you in with her stories and enthusiasm. If you're a committed meat lover you can still enjoy a lot of the recipes as sides, so the book is more versatile than it appears. The Sweet Sticky Garlic from the tomato and polenta dish is delicious as is the whole recipe!

A must have for your cookbook library!
Bettina Bordi shows the world that vegan can indeed be tasty! The book is fairly light, making it easy to carry around. Many illustrations of the prepared dishes help compare one's own progress. The recipes are simple to prepare with a section specifically for a smaller number of servings. The book is a broad collection of recipes but they are all vegan and gluten free. The results are incredibly tasty!

There are so many great recipes in here
There are so many great recipes in here. I have tried a couple already and have loved them. I did have to go shopping as there were several ingredients I normally do not keep on hand, but once I had them, I was good to do.
