The coffee tea itself has an almost chocolate/date smell to it. After steeped, it is a light colored tea with a cherry/date taste. There are sweet high notes of cherry and low notes of dates. There is no aftertaste or bitterness.

This is my new favorite thing.It tastes like a chai tea but more lively. I love the crimson color. Normally I make it hot and it takes about 5 minutes in the mug until it gets how I like it. I’ve tried it with a cinnamon stick (amazing) and with lemon and agave sweetener sometimes too. The tea is really versatile. I haven’t tried it cold-brew yet but I’m planning to.The thing I like most of all is that it is just so clean. It perks me up in a really gentle way. Like I said, this is my best discovery of 2019.***** 5 stars

I have to admin I am not much of a tea drinker, but I wanted to try this for health reasons. I saw a click-bait ad for a secret to longevity and the “secret” ingredient was “coffee tea”. I did further research to learn that it does have health benefits so I search Amazon and found this product. I like the tea, but I just can’t seem to ever get into drinking tea.If you like tea, you’ll like this tea and maybe you’ll experience the benefits of the coffee cherry.I am making kombucha from it and hope that comes out with interesting flavors that are more compatible for me than tea.

I use these coffee cherries in two ways. I put them on cereal along with other dried fruits such as goji berries and raisins. I also make them into a tea: just pour on boiling water and steep. It makes a slightly tart drink that reminds me of cranberries. Either way, they are a tasty and unusual treat!

Arrived as described. No quality issues.Tastes a bit like dried fruit and tobacco (picture the scent of an unlit cigarette). It was a fun experiment, and I'll probably do some other tries with it... but I don't see me replacing coffee or black tea with this.

really weak flavor.

It really does have the subtle taste of pie cherries or cranberries. I let it steep overnight to make a strong brew and top off half a glass full with ice and fizzy water.

I liked this so much that I just recently bought the 1 lb. bag. I really look forward to this coffee fruit tea every morning. Thank you very much!
