Hubco Seal Impression Inker, Shiny, 2-inch Round Diameter

I covered a piece of copy paper with our company's logo embosser to test out this inker, and it seems to work very well. The way it is designed, the ink pad is slightly higher "up" inside the unit than the edges, so you can't physically apply ink to the paper surface that isn't raised by the embosser. As long as you get a good raised impression with the embosser, this should ink it well. I did notice that our embossed logo is slightly wider than the ink pad, but a few "taps" around the logo ensure that I ink the full image.

Press gently once, pick it up and press again, using a finger to push it gently onto any areas that didn't get covered the first time. Trying to do your border or the tiny details in the center will result in smudges and is not legally required. Great little inker.

Convenient if necessary to make emboss visible for images. It does leave a smudge on one side, no matter how careful I am.

I tried this on the embossed area and it doesn seem to be touching it at all!!! Quite a challenge or I am doing it wrong?

Mine doesn't come out perfectly legible like in the product photo, but that hasn't been a problem. All I need is to show that the seal is there when scanning or faxing. It's really quick and easy to use. It's a dry ink, which keeps it from smudging all over the paper. (Better than some of the regular ink stamps people use that smudge wet ink all over the page if you're not careful.) I recommend!

I was skeptical about purchasing this after reading reviews, but I didn't have many options. This has turned out to be a great purchase! I was asked by my job to renew my notary. I had an embosser that they said I could continue to use, so I purchased this to help the stamp show up on scans/copies. I have to press it down nice and hard for it to cover the entire embossed area, but it works great and shows up over everything. Very happy with the purchase!
