This is the best LED driver available, IMHO. Virtually all the others have a PWM output, which flickers the lights at a frequency between about 210 Hz and 1 kHz, depending on the model. An IEEE study concludes that flicker frequencies under 3 kHz can cause eye strain and headaches, even if you can't consciously observe the flicker. This driver has a DC output that varies the voltage to the LEDs, so there is no flicker at all. My DMM measurements confirm that the output is pure DC with virtually no ripple. It is also silent, has a high power factor (measured this also), and has high efficiency. And stayed cool, testing with a 50 watt load. It also uses the superior 0-10v control method, and can dim down to 1% without flickering or cutting out. Magnitude also makes a variable DC output driver that works with standard TRIAC dimmer switches, if you don't want to or can't do the extra wiring for the 0-10v setup. The only downside to variable DC dimming is that at reduced voltage, the LEDs may, depending on their design, have a shift in color temperature or CRI. I don't think that this will be to a significant or noticeable extent, and the elimination of flicker I think is much more important. I'm not associated with the manufacturer or vendor! I'm just an engineer who's done a ton of research into these things and so far this is my dream LED driver!Note that you may want to use the Lutron DVSTV dimmer instead of the recommended DVTV dimmer, to disconnect the mains from the driver when turned off. Otherwise, it is going to be drawing about 3 watts all the time when turned off.

Great working well and very happy with this power supply

Not dimmable.This transformer its not magnetic triac as is advertised in item images. You can't connect directly triac dimmers to transformer. The only way to dimm is to run extra wires for 0-10v dimming and to install also 0-10v dimmer switch.Short story garbage.

Reliable. Used on pro make up mirrors. Works perfectly, generally no flicker on any camera device.

After connecting the number line, the product does not respond.
