Pretty, tough and quality superb!
Awesome. Could kill a person. Heavy. Excellent quality.

Beautiful and crazy sturdy
This pan is a piece of art. Reminiscent of the old time Griswold pans. Machined smooth inside, although there are some slight concentric ridges from what I would guess are CNC tooling marks. The pan has seasoned very well though regular usage and oiling. It's getting close to the non-stick seasoning of my antique cast iron pans. Fish doesn't stick to it now and it's only getting better. Eggs are nearly stick-free, probably only a month before eggs won't stick. This pan is very durable and will be a family heirloom. It is heavy though! But that's cast iron!

New favorite skillet
This is an amazing skillet. Handle stays cool but could be a little bigger for those of us that can palm a basketball. The surface is machine smooth and easy to season and cook. Excited to have a fancy heirloom cast iron on the stove ready to use. Definitely higher quality than others available and quite unique.

Highest quality cast iron I've ever owned!
This is the easiest, most beautiful cast iron skillet I've ever owned! I had almost given up on using cast iron products because I could never figure out how to properly care for them. This smooth skillet is so easy to clean and the food tastes SO good! I am thinking of buying more sizes so I have a whole set.

Really High-end Stuff
Really nice pan. In fact it's been two years since I bought it for my wife and she is still afraid to use it because she doesn't want to ruin it, SMH. If you camp, glamp, prep, survive, whatever it would likely be a great buy that I assume will last forever. Let me know if it does, because mine will, just not for the same reasons.

Sides are not polished, but handle is great.
I love this pan, but it lost a star because only the bottom is polished. The sides still have all the sticking problems that come with a new cast iron pan that isn't polished. In fact they almost feel rougher. This means anything that touches the sides is a problem and the sides are tougher to clean. The handle is great. The heat distribution is no better than any other cast iron pan. One side of my pan always seems slightly hotter, no matter how I move it around. It weighs less than some other common brands, which is nice for a pan I have to scrape stuff out of.

Best cast iron skillet
Not only is it a work of art and beautiful to look at, it preforms like the high quality product it is. My favorite skillet hands down, worth every penny, great investment in cookware.

First cast iron skillet
This is our first cast iron skillet, and I'm sorry we waited so long to get one. These are great cooking pans. This costs more than others, but the smooth machined cooking surface is worth it. Easier to clean and ensure you have all food particles removed. You will get inconsistent heating over a gas flame (contrary to some thinking, cast iron isn't nearly as conductive as aluminum, and far less than copper) which I measured with an infrared camera. For a more consistent temperature over gas, use an aluminum heat spreader between the pan and burner. I see only 25F temperature range this way, and about 70F if it is not used.
