This is a useful addition to my tool box. I am using it to make secure connections central heating drain points. It lets me connect a drain hose with the minimum of fuss. It will also be useful for anyone needing to connect a hosepipe to a kitchen tap, perhaps if your home does not have a garden tap.

Came straight off, tried making it tighter, turn-key snapped, came off again. Would not recommend.

Cheap and cheerful tap adaptor. Allows you to easily convert most standard garden taps to accept a standard Hozelock fitting. It arrives in a plain plastic bag. Build quality is decent. The piece that fits over your tap is made of a very thick and robust rubber and plastic with a metal jubilee style clip around it. You can tighten the clip by hand, but I found giving it a final tighten with a pair of pliers made it more secure. The hose connector is made of an ABS type plastic. Time will tell if they both hold up to UV light. This adaptor is fairly inexpensive and does the job. If you're looking for a way to quickly convert and old outdoor tap, then this is a good option.

Doesn't fit a 22-24mm tap or anything close to that. the opening is only 15mm and the rubber is too stiff to stretch.
