10 Pack Reusable Sanitary Pads for Women, M (26cm) Medium to Heavy Flow

First lot of reusable I bought! Highly absorbent super comfortable. Wash great. Lovely designs great starter pack.

Was a bit dubious about these to start with, but I absolutely love them. They are comfortable to wear and do exactly what they are designed for. I’ve been using them for over a year and not had any problems. The main difference is at night - regular towels with wings tend to move and cause leakage, but because the wings on these are fabric the whole way around to the poppers there are no leaks. I sleep much better now, knowing that I’m not going to leak in the bed. When I mentioned them to a colleague, she thought the idea of reusable towels was quite revolting, but when I explained that you don’t throw underwear or bedding away if you get blood on them she realised the advantages and decided to try them herself. She is glad she listened to me, she loves them too! Being a bit older I also experience mild bladder leaks when I laugh, cough etc, so if I’m going out somewhere (even to do the weekly food shop) I wear one to prevent any accidents. Don’t get me wrong, they can’t cope with full on incontinence , but they are fine for a bit of a dribble! Overall I am really happy with them. They will save you a fortune in the long run and are so much better for the environment. They are comfortable and easy to wash, and after a year they are just as good as when I first got them. There are no loose threads anywhere, the poppers are still good and sturdy, they haven’t lost their shape and they still do the job. Fantastic product, just wish I had found them years ago.

Really great product. I only wish I had tried these sooner! Very comfortable and absorbent. Having looked for an alternative to single use products for a while I thought I'd give these a go! Great value for the price. First try I was a little nervous about leaks so I put a regular disposable pad underneath just incase but I am very impressed with how absorbent these things are and how comfortable they are. Seem to wash well, no problems there. My only complaints would be: - The amount of single use plastic wrapping and other packaging they come in. Each pad came in its own little plastic bag. Then the individually bagged pads were in another bigger bag before putting in a fairly large amazon box. The plastic is not recyclable and will take hundreds of years to break down in land fill producing some nasty byproducts of decomposition. While cardboard is recyclable its better just to not use so much of it in the first place since the production and recycling of single use cardboard itself consumes time, energy and resources. The amount of packaging seems kind of unnecessary since I would guess most people would wash a product like this anyway before first use for hygiene purposes. I guess as an alternative to keep everything together maybe a cloth bag would be good? This would also be helpful for laundering these bad boys. Excessive packaging though is not an issue related purely to this product but does seem to be a feature of most products on amazon. - They are a little bulky. If you're used to tampons of slimline pads then this takes a big of getting used to and I wouldn't wear with anything tight fitting like leggings. - They do move around a bit while out and about. I wouldn't want to go for a run in them unless they were a bit better secured

Taking the plunge to reusable sanitary products, I tried to do my research and to be quite frank, found most of the info out there unhelpful. I have used sanitary towels my whole life so being told something could hold "two tampons worth" was not helpful. I just knew that I had heavy days and light days and leaking is a pain. Having decided that investing in period underwear was just too much money and would frankly be inconvenient, I decided to give reusable sanitary towels a try and I have to say the first period went well! For reference, I usually use Always Ultra with wings and would go through about 4 pads the first and second days and then taper off. The length of these towels is not dissimilar the Always pads and the wings here are actually absorbent (no side/edge leaks!), which was very nice. The popper fastened with the towel in one position only which was perfect placement for me (using regular midi pants) and I had no issues with the towel staying in place. I took care when pulling pants up to ensure the back did not fold down, but that is no different than I would with an Always pad. I used them from the moment my period started and never felt like I had to change the towel because I felt disgusting - the absorbency is fantastic. I changed because I felt like it was probably about time from the look and smell when I was using the bathroom, not because I thought the towel was full. On that note - I was worried about the smell however there was none at all when walking around, sitting, doing exercise. However, the moment I pulled my pants down in the bathroom, I knew about it! I rinsed the towels in cold water as soon as i removed them and was very satisfied with how clean they were after this and how much blood they were obviously holding! I then put them through the washing machine in a normal 30-40 degree cycle with other items and they came out perfectly - no stains, no misshaping. I did not go through all 10, which pleasantly surprised me (10-16 Always Ultra is normal). The towels are not all perfectly shaped - they are definitely not symmetrical - however this did not affect their functionality and so in my mind is not an issue. The "wet bags" are not wet bags though. You can fit two towels in each and are a good way to carry spares but I took a sealing sandwich bag to work with me to put my used towel in as I realised that the bags would not contain any moisture or smell. Similarly, I placed a sandwich bag in my home bathroom and put my rinsed towels in this until I was ready to do a load of laundry and this contained the smell and moisture very well. I think if I had not been able to rinse the towels at work the sandwich/wet bag would have been even more important for smell but I still think the towels would have rinsed clean at home. I do definitely recommend rinsing before washing though. All in all, this was a much easier switch than I expected. I just need to get a nice little wet bag with a pocket to carry clean and used towels long-term.

I absolutely love these! They are very comfortable and don’t feel stiff or thick in your underwear. I would say these are ideal for a light / medium flow and I like that the same material is on the wings as this helps reduce staining and makes you feel more secure. I highly recommend wearing tight fitted underwear so that the pad doesn’t move around, I just bought a size down and they’ve been very secure. The fabric is so soft and breathable and I don’t get that dirty feeling like you do with disposables! My skin isn’t irritated either and it just makes having a period a lot more bearable lol. Cleaning is effortless! I store the soiled pads in a bucket dry until my cycle ends, then I just unpop them all and put them (soiled side facing down) in a bucket filled with warm water mixed with a bit of detergent and vanish oxi action and let it soak overnight. Then drain the water and rinse the pads in warm water until water runs clear (at this stage, they’re equivalent to dirty underwear) Chuck it in the washing machine (alongside a coloured or dark load of washing) with detergent and vanish oxi and air dry them. I’ve found this method so easy and no problems with staining. I haven’t had to wash these separately to my clothes after soaking them, so my laundry hasn’t increased and I’m not using anymore water than I usually do =D I will never go back to disposables! Highly recommend! And you’re helping to save the planet too

These a just brilliant. Been wanting to try something more eco friendly and these have passed all my expectations. Super soft and comfortable to wear, not sweaty like disposable and no smell. The absorbency is great ( I have a heavy flow and use 2 in the day and 1 at night) they wash great and no stains (even washed on a 30) I don’t use conditioner as this effects the absorbency and just wash them either at the end of the day or 2nd day on a quick wash. Dry well and ok in tumble dryer. No leaks either. You do have to get used to them I.e as they don’t stick they slide when you attach them but once pulled up and walking I don’t actually notice any problems and they stay in place. They are naturally a bit bulkier than disposable but not caused me an issue and I wear fitted trousers and dresses. This is my 3rd month using them and I’ve already got my money’s worth!

I was so pleased to find reusable pads on Amazon for such a reasonable price. They’re not only an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable, non biodegradable sanitary pads, but the price means they are a truly affordable solution to the issue of girls having to miss school regularly due to being unable to afford pads. Unfortunately it seems that many girls and women aren’t aware that there’s an alternative to expensive disposable pads, but being sold on Amazon makes them more accessible and more mainstream so hopefully they’ll become a more popular alternative. I ordered these for my daughter who is almost 12 and I’m really impressed, so much so I ordered another set. They are comfortable to wear, very absorbent and wash well. I have to admit to having abused them in the wash as I wash them with my baby’s nappies at 60 degrees but the pads have held up well, and no stains. My daughter says she much prefers these to disposable pads which I’m very pleased about as we are trying to reduce the number of single use products we use as a family.

These are nice cheap pads if you've never tried cloth pads before and you want to give it a go without spending a lot of money, as some pads can get very expensive. Now that I've tried cheap vs slightly more expensive ones, I will tell you that you get what you pay for. These do the job but they do have their annoyances, mainly the material on the side that sits against your underwear. It is super silky and the pads tend to slide around inside your underwear which makes it easy for blood to spill out onto your undies if they move too far forwards or backwards. Pads that you can buy from individual sellers, for example on etsy, or precious stars pads which is a well known brand here in the UK, the quality is a lot better than these mass manufactured ones and well worth the extra money if you are committed to using cloth pads. Going the slightly pricier route also usually lets you pick out exactly what patterns and designs you want, I'm adding a picture of the ones I received and tbh the only one I really like is the monkey one! Not that it hugely matters what is on your pads but I love cute things and I'm less inclined to use the ones I think are ugly... lol
