THE ART OF CHORDS addresses the most common weakness of the -learn by heart - guitar player, reading and understanding chords. Here is a revolutionary way to look at chords, which is both simple and easily remembered. With the knowledge of only six chords, two basic formulas and some rudiment of music theory, one can understand and play the more than nine thousand possible guitar chords. Richly illustrated, it is a step-by-step approach to chord visualization and a lot more than a simple chord dictionary. Here is a teachable method to understand chords in the context of the guitar, which is both fun in classroom and a great preparation for fake book reading. Review: A Truly Unique Chord Book - I'm very impressed with this book and have never seen anything quite like it. I bought it on the recommendation of Tony Polecastro in one of his Acoustic Tuesday programs, as I just signed up for his Fretboard Wizard course. I also appreciated the way Imagine This Music of Nashville Tennessee sent this book. It was sandwiched between two heavy cardboard rectangles the same size as the book and wrapped carefully in plastic, essentially rendering it "Mailman Proof". They created a package that could not be folded in half and stuffed in a mailbox! Review: Chord reference - Chord reference for guitar- it is basic and good

Stephane Gagnon is my new best friend!
I've bought the first book a couple of years ago and was very happy to find II. This is a dream tool for the basement composer that I am. I understand music better and I use the easy read chord tables to write songs. The central page is just... smart. JC Lacasse, Columbus, Ohio

Fills in the gaps left by Fretboard Logic
Although Fretboard Logic is an excellent book I always felt that there was something missing. This clear, concise books fills those missing gaps. I found this book to be much easier to understand and it has excellent excercises to drive the message home. I would recommend this book to anyone, beginner to advanced guitarists would benefit from the information contained in it.
