Great primer. Awesome adhesion to metal on an axle. Make sure to clean the grease off the piece you are painting first or the paint will react and not dry.

A fantastic paint! It did a beautiful job on my rifle stocks, one is wood and the other syntactic. I see some people giving less than 5 stars to this paint; I wonder if they followed the instructions on the can?? Do they know anything about spray painting?? Do not try to cover up everything with one coat! For that you need brush on paint. Spray paints are thinner, thin multiple coats needed for success, otherwise it will run. Follow directions and practice to paint with a aerosol spray paint before attempting to have good results and griping about a good product.

Good coverage - 2 coats on raw wood, high gloss finish, pretty turquoise color.

This color is stunning and the quality of paint is amazing. I took this 49cc mini bike apart, lightly sanded and painted the plastics in 4-5 light coats (only reaching full opacity on 3rd coat) with 5 minutes dry time. Pretty much enough time to completely spray a coat on the rest of the pieces and come back to a mostly-dry ready-for-paint piece. For proper paint bonding and surface durability, it’s best to respray coats with the surface 60-80% dry and this stuff dries QUICK, so keep that in mind. Topped everything off with 3 fine coats of Krylon MAXX Satin Clear Coat in the same style can and nozzle/spray head (which is very effective and has little to no drip, even after 30 seconds of continuous spray).Update: this satin still looks gorgeous in direct sunlight and dim evening with the accent ghost I have installed on the bike. I have spilled gasoline on the paint multiple times and not a single patch of the original plastic color has come through. Crashed the bike multiple times and still overall pleasant to look at. Besides, having the texture of my clear coat and paint being satin makes it easy to throw a quick touch up spray on a little road rash leaves her lookin good as new.

I painted 2 brass pushes on a swinging door to match new drawer pulls and hinges in satin nickle. I used four coats, each 5 minutes apart. It looks like it has always been the new color. 4-stars on durability only because it hasn't been long enough to test it under real world conditions, but it seems durable enough for the short use so far.
