Great seat but not for thicker mountain bike frames
I've now got one happy 2 year old at home who asks to go bike riding non-stop! Its super fun to have him right in front of me demanding we go this way and that way and FASTER! My only complaint with this seat is that I had to buy a different bike as it just didn't work on my mountain bike due to its frame being too thick to allow me to turn with the seat attached. Definitely recommend this seat though.

Love it!
We got the Thule after looking at a ton of front mount and rear mount bike seats because we thought it had great safety features, good ventilation (our little one runs hot) and we thought he'd like the view from the front rather than looking at our backs. Cooper loves this seat! He has a blast during bike rides, especially the downhills. The little bar for him to hold in the front is great and I think it helps him feel in control. His legs aren't long enough to put in the leg straps but he's not going anywhere once the harness is buckled. Safe, secure and fun for our little guy.

Did not work for us unfortunately
I really like Thule, but this little seat was not what we needed. We have a 9 month old son. I ordered the seat thinking it would suffice; however, it was just too flimsy. The harness would not stay on. It kept slipping down, so we used a strap to try to hold it together. The stirrups interfere with the bicycle turn radius. And, it’s just a dinky little thing that you are sticking your most precious child in and hope for the best. It’s on the floor behind one of our bike racks now. I ended up buying the Thule Ride-Along, which is MUCH more substantial, well constructed and obviously safer. This seat might work for a small animal, but you would really have to strap them in.

Works well on a US mountain bike!
I purchased this particular seat after some research to make sure it would fit my ride. The newer style NEXXT does not fit the fork diameter of most US mountain bikes. This model has an available Ahead stem adapter (sold separately) that fits my 1-1/8" fork tube.It works great on my Ghost Kato XL frame with the Ahead adapter. I used the included mount on my wife's cruiser that has a quill-type stem. The ergonomics with the seat installed is similar on both bikes. The foot rests do limit your steering angle and you will have to ride with your knees out a little, but these are minor complaints about a great seat. The quality is excellent. My little guy really loves riding up front. So far it has been a great experience.

Super easy install!
My daughter could not be happier with this seat. She’s 21 months old and this has lots of room for her to grow and for it to still work. By the time she’s over the weight limit I’m sure she’ll want her own bike. It is only slightly awkward the first time you ride with the seat as it’s a slight adjustment for your legs to spread a little and not hit it while pedaling.

We use this daily, and we LOVE it!
I live in a very bicycle friendly town, so I thought it was about time I get my one-year-old out on the road. I read a ton of reviews on Amazon and biking-with-kid sites, and I decided on this one based on all the stellar reviews. I'm using the Yepp on a men's Electra Cruiser that I picked up cheap secondhand, no adapter needed. It installed quickly and easily, and I can very comfortably ride the bike. My husband is about 6', and he has to turn his knees out a touch to avoid the Yepp, but at 5'8", I don't at all. My son LOVES this seat. He is constantly asking to go out on a ride. I read some complaints about the straps being difficult to adjust, but I personally haven't had any issues with it. I've had to loosen/tighten when he's wearing more or fewer layers, and it's easy. My son was 30" at last check, and his feet fit great with the foot pads one notch down from the smallest setting. His helmet doesn't hit the back of the seat in any sort of irritating way. I love being able to talk to him easily and see what he's pointing at. I was worried having the weight on the front would make the bike feel a little extra wobbly, but it's as if there's no difference. We've gotten a lot of compliments on it, and we are super happy with our choice. The orange color is nice and bright, and any extra visibility doesn't hurt. My son likes to hold onto his little handlebars, but he occasionally likes to feel the squishy rubber on mine.

Love this seat
I did a LOT of searching trying to decide which front-mount seat to get for my bike and I’m so glad I went with this one. The high back gives my 17 month old support and she seemed comfortable. We took her out for her first ride in it yesterday and the only reason we stopped was because her helmet had started to bother her (first time really wearing it). I’m only 5’3” and didn’t have any problems seeing over her as I rode. Excellent purchase.

worth the high price
Getting the clamp on the bike was easy enough. It felt good and tight on my bike. Getting seat onto the clamp was a little more tricky. I had to really get down and look to see exactly what was going where, but once I got it on, it was on! It fits perfect, which I was a little worried about because I have an older bike (1984 Sears Roebuck Free Spirit Brittany). My daughter is 18 months and 26lbs and fits in it perfectly. The length of the legs adjusts to fit so that was very nice. I like the 5 point harness, but it has a tendency to slip off her shoulders even when very tight. I like the straps that keep her feet in place, that is nice so I know she won't get her foot caught in the wheel.I was a little concerned that it would get in the way of my knees, but it isn't bad. It's very compact, made of good, sturdy material, and works wonderfully. Highly recommend!

Inherent Fault with the Ahead Adaptor
You need to purchase the additional Ahead Adaptor for any bike with a treadless stem meaning probably half of all bikes.99.9% of bikes have a head tube angle swept backwards at the same angle regardless of being threaded or threadless and to counter this swept back angle the adaptor (Slimfit Adaptor) that comes with the Yepp Mini has the seat attachment angled swept forwards (not backwards nor 90dehrees) to counter the head tube angle.UNFORTUNATELY Thule allowed this Ahead stem bracket to reach the point of sale without realising the bend in the bracket isn't even angled at 90degrees (it’s angled backwards) yet it should be angled with a forward angle just as the slim fit adaptor is angled, the seat attachment on the Ahead Adaptor increases the backwards swept angle to around 85 degrees. The result is that the Yepp Mini seat is so far reclined that it pushes into the riders chest meaning you can't ride the bike with any degree of safety and your child is straining forwards all the time they are awake.I've included a photograph to try and show the grossly opposite angles of the adaptors and NO just bending the bracket yourself isn't a good idea unless you want to cut through the re-enforcing folds on the metal plate which isn't a good idea on any bracket that is subject to vibrations and a child's weight on it.Really bad quality control by Thule :-(

Thrilled
Bought for a 9 month old. Was super excited upon arrival and was extremely impressed by the quality. It's light, easy to assemble, can be detached easily using the button underneath and when attached it can be locked in place for extra security. Perfect for young babies/toddlers and my own daughter loves it as she is comfortable and well supported. The back of the seat is low enough to not interfere with her head/helmet too much, and the harness offers amazing support and is easy to adjust. I also adore the colour! As for the company, they are very supportive and professional if any matters arise regarding delivery of the product. The first one I ordered, unfortunately, got returned to Amazon. However, after contacting them I got a full refund, and after re-purchasing, delivery was prompt.Couldn't be happier!

Best for bikes with steep head angles.
Good product, but when used with the Aheadset adaptor you need a bike with a steep head angle. The seat bracket attaches to the top of the stearer tube, so at normal MTB head angles the back of the seat ends up almost on top the saddle (see photo, seat mounted on cube stereo) and the child is looking up at the sky!! Needs some way of adjusting the angle of the seat.

Fits my brompton
I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit my folding bike (Brompton) but as long as you attach it right at the top, then it not only fits but fully folds and closes when the seat is removed. The seat is sturdy for my 2.5 year old but it (stating the obvious) it does make it harder to ride especially when the child moves around (turns etc) which is probably not as bad with a younger or more compliment child. So I would recommend you need to be a competent cyclist to start with. Other than that, I fully recommend this seat.

Nice seat, dangerous handlebar
Seat itself is well built as is clamp, it’s difficult to fit to a MTB as the legs press on the suspension and won’t fit at all with the feet and full extension. But the main floor and it’s a dangerous floor is the placement of a rivit in the handle bar R&D must have designed it on a Friday afternoon. It’s VERY poor construction and broke with hardly any pressure at all. (See pictures)I like the seat and will probably remove the cheap rubbish handle bar and use a shotgun handle bar in its place. Shame on you thule for such a saftey over site.
