Excellent filament
Hatchbox is now my go to filament. Great opacity, great performance at a good price. This filament measured 1.73 to 1.74mm consistently. I found that it very slightly under-extruded but sorted that with 1.02 flow rate multiplier in Slic3r - maybe something to do with this particular pigment. Prints very well at around 205°C on either heated or non-heated bed, with no odour. Slight gloss finish, good adhesion especially on blue tape. I've tried Rigid.ink PLA and there is very little between the two. If Rigid.ink was a similar price then I'd buy that but it's nearly twice the price on Amazon. The filament comes in a good quality box and is vac-packed with silica gel. The box and reel are colour coded so you can see at a glance what the filament colour is - nice touch. Test photo 20mm cube: 0.4mm layer, 0.5mm nozzle @ 205°C with 3mm retraction on 3+ year old RepRapPro Ormerod.

Good forgiving PLA
When you are pretty new to a hobby, you need a product that is easy to use, and this doesn’t disappoint. I printed a temperature tower to get my setting right with the product, and there was very little difference throughout the recommended range, so little that I had to double check that I hadn’t printed the whole tower at the same temperature setting. It might not mean much from a professional standpoint, but to an amateur, having a pretty wide range that the product remains stable and useable means that it’s less messing around to get things set up right. Some other brands that I’ve tried have had pretty narrow temperature ranges to get a good result. On top of this, the finish was clean, adhesion was excellent, no shrinkage at the corners that I’ve had with other brands, and no nasty smells while printing. I definitely understand why it’s rated so highly, even if it is a bit higher priced than the competition. Reliable and easy to use, shame it’s now out of stock when I need another roll of black.

Good but temparamental
This is very good filament. It prints well once setup correctly. The colour is a bit odd. Very very pale beige - almost flesh colour - sorry white with a slight tint rather than what I'd consider beige. This is the only filament I've had where I've had the layers delaminate (split) when printing a large box. The end result was very brittle. (not hot enough). Adjusting the print temp solved this but as I said this is the 1st time I've had this problem. Once setup correctly printed well

Amazing filament, massive bargain
Amazing filament, definitely buying again. Usually silver filament is just dark grey but not this, it is actually silver. It prints best at 240-250 degrees and I can manage to print at 45mm/s with it. The only reason why there isn't a fifth star is because there are air bubbles in it and quite a lot of them. But averall it is the best filament I have tried and it blends the layers very well.

Best PLA I've used
I was nervous to buy this as I've had a few recent issues with PLA from Amazon. When it came, it looked extremely thin compared to my best rolls, so I didn't hold out much hope for it being tidy and not creating loose layers. I was so wrong. This is by far the best PLA I've ever used. I design and print 1/16-1/24 miniatures and it's the best quality I've ever got out of my printer. Really tight rows, good adhesion, and a shiny finish. It's a little brittle on thinner parts, and a little harder to sand than others, but it's easily my new favourite go-to. Going to get some more colours soon. (Also, this was the first test print of something I designed in tinkercad and honestly, I've never had a first test print this successful. I printed at 185º which is slightly lower than usual for me, but it worked nicely.)

Just good filament that prints very well , currently my favourites.
Purchased this a while ago. Came well packaged, vacuum and desiccant. After a year still good. Prints well at 210C, 50C bed. Adhesion is excellent. Nice glossy black. The filament looks glossy as filament so guess less wear. Used it for G scale trains for coal load. Looks great. No clogging, not brittle, no dust. Prints with no issues. This is currently my favourite, shame it is now £5 more expensive that a year ago.

If it seems too good to be true.......
Having 3x3D printers I am a fairly heavy user of filament and tried many including XYZ, Wanhao, Rigid.ink, Flashforge etc. This Hatchbox filament seemed too good to be true at the price so was expecting mediocre results. It's not often something that seems too good to be true is true. This filament is absolutely superb. It produces the cleanest, least stringey prints of any of the filaments I have used whilst resisting warping and also providing the glossiest finish. I have yet to have a single jam orr issue and in testing the dimensional accuracy seems spot on. Well done Hatchbox, I absolutely love your filament and to cap it off the price is quite amazing

Tangled spool caused print failure
I bought two rolls. The first was fine, but whilst printing with the second the printer suddenly stopped extruding. Investigation showed that the filament was wound erratically round the spool (see photo), causing it to bind so the printer couldn't pull it through. This was midway through the spool so I couldn't have spotted it when loading the spool. Quality of the filament itself is fine, just unfortunate that a lot if it (and my time!) was wasted due to the above issue.
