InterMETRO M5-181847C 5-Shelf PrePack, 18 47-Inch, Chrome

Fit perfectly in my kitchen, was easy to assemble, came well packed, will take heavy cast iron fry pans. lots of room for bowls, knife set, crocks of utensils. Looks great. Best investment of money.

We ordered this hoping to get black because the item description says that black is available. The chrome finish is fine but black would have worked better for us. Availability of black in description should be changed. This shelf unit was easy to set up and seems sturdy. The 18 Sq inch shelves are small enough to be unobtrusive in our corner setting though may be too small for some uses.

I am really pleased with this shelving unit. It fits my needs perfectly. I am using it to hold all the components for my bedroom flat screen tv. It fits my small space perfectly. The 18" square gives me room behind everything to organize all the wires and secure them with velcro ties. The shelving unit is very good quality. I am sure it could hold a lot heavier load than I have on it. I put it together myself in about 15 minutes including custom adjustments. The unit comes with a few extra 2 piece plastic clips in case any are lost or damaged. Great bonus. I would not hesitate to order another unit if I ever have the need. Organize It shipped the unit via Fedex. I got it in 4 days with ground shipping. Not bad from MI to TX during wintertime!!

Awesomely well built rack, we purchased to use for a media rack ( amplifier, equalizer, receiver etc) my audio guys wanted me to buy a 500.00 rack, this was perfect! I would buy these shelves again. Really easy assembly and very clever engineering that makes it so sturdy. Wheels work well with a heavy load. Just remember that the measurement is from outside , edge to edge and allow for the width of the legs if you have to fit something specific on a shelf .

When I purchased this it, the description indicated it came in black or white. There never was anywhere to indicate color preference. I chatted online with amazon and was told it would be in black (which is what I wanted). When the product was delivered and opened, it was chrome in color. I wanted to send it back but did not because I needed the shelving and it was not available in black. I ended up covering the edges with black duct tape and using black plastic housing that is used for "corralling" electrical wires to cover the corner posts. There is still some chrome showing but most of the shelf is black now. The shelves themselves are well made and sturdy.

This a perfect size for filling a vertical space inside of a pantry. It's stable, and you can put it together quickly and without difficulty. I appreciated that InterMetro included casters and adjustable feet. I'm not going to roll the shelf around the kitchen, and I'm using the feet. I was able to adjust them for a perfectly level and stable shelf system.I'm using the shelf for storing additional pots and pans, and it fits this role perfectly. I also purchased the InterMETRO Large Snap-On Hooks. These are simple hooks, and I use them for hanging a wok, a frying pan, and some pot lids. It helps to increase the utility of the shelf, but be advised that it can obstruct your access to items on the shelf.I'm very happy with the cost and the utility.

This is a good, sturdy product. I wanted to give it a 5-star rating, but I thought the packaging was somewhat/moderately inadequate. More specifically, the outer cardboard box was a bit thin, which is the primary reason why it arrived torn open. Also, the instructions could use some improvement, too. If I hadn't been familiar with assembly of this type of product, I might have been perplexed. Could I eventually figure it out? Yes, but why should the customer have to figure out anything? Instructions should be clear as day. Other than that, I'm quite pleased.

I bought this shelf for my home office, to hold paper supplies.It is very sturdy, was easy to put together and fits perfectly in the space I had. Plus, all my supplies are off the floor and well organized. Would recommend and would buy again.

I have a confined space in a closet which wouldn't accomodate the typical 24" shelving unit. I was looking for a unit such as this 18" size. It is made of solid metal chrome plated . It fits perfectly and handles all my office supplies. The price was much better than I could find at any retail outlet including shipping.
