After struggling with the tripod legs that not only are they bendable, they are also loosely hinged to the tripod so whatever curvature you bend it around a pole, you realize that you can just pull it away from the pole by the hinge. Yeah, ok, no. Hinges and legs that bends should not go together. They should just have bendable legs with fixed attachment and not a hinge or a hinge that you can tighten into a fix position. I mean like you spend hours wrapping the legs around a pole and you think you got it, then all the legs just pop out because they are hinged. Also the bendable legs are not like you think. Bend it around a pole and it doesn't grab the pole tightly but rather unwraps itself slightly. So you bend the other legs to create a clamp that also slightly opens back up and the whole thing slides down the pole. No you cannot just wrap it around a light stand and think that it would stay where you wrap it. As I'm thinking about this, I keep saying no, no, no. You will spend an hour trying to think where you can wrap the legs of this thing so that you don't have to return it or throw it away. You need something to keep it from sliding down a pole once you wrap the legs around the pole. The 3rd leg is usually used to keep it from spinning upside down. Remember there are 2 dimensions to this thing; swivel around and swivel upside down. The magnet is just strong enough to grab

This scanner was delivered "plug-in" ready and worked as soon as we took it out of the box, it is a fast and easy to use wireless barcode scanner. In my opinion, it is one of the best out there with Bluetooth to get the job done.The effective transmission distance between the scanner and the USB receiver (Cradle) is really long (about 50ft./15m). We can take the scanner far away from the cradle to scan barcodes on large boxes. The instruction manual is very informative, it does have a lot of barcodes that you can scan to change the unit's configuration, language, baud rate, reset to default and many other important features.We have only been using it for a few weeks so I will update after it has really been used and let you know how it's working but so far so good. Overall, the barcode reader does its job perfectly. With Motorola quality, we strongly recommend it. Please note that the barcode scanner does not need external power supply, it is powered through USB cable.

I have found the Symbol scanners to be very reliable and easy to configure. This wireless version is a favorite for our warehouse staff. They can set the computer and then feel confident as they walk around and scan - the average distance for our staff is about 30' unobstructed. The battery life is great, but when they do start to have lower run time, the batteries are easy to change and readily available.

Works like a charm. Needed this for inventory work at my company. Very sensitive and can scan almost anything. There are times, especially with smaller barcodes, when it seems as if you have to get the angle of the scanner just right for it to register and scan. However compared with what I had before this is much better. Love all the options it provides you with for scanning. Would definitely recommend.

i had one of these scanners at my work place so i decided to buy one and see itto my suprise it came in 2 different boxes which was weird but otherwise i love the piece

Works OK

I purchased this model for work because it is exactly like the model I already had. When I tried to use it, the scanner was not compatible for some reason. I called Symbol (the manufacturer) for support and they could not find the serial number in their system. Symbol’s support stated it was a discontinued product that is no longer supported and I should return it because Amazon is not an authorized retailer. Amazon support attempted to speak to Symbol support to make it right but with no success. Amazon gave me a full refund.
