Portable but with limitations
This is more of a hobby tool than a serious all day machine. If your needs for a compressor are like mine and you only require to pump up a tyre occasionally or blow out a vacuum cleaner now and again then this is more than good enough. If you want to run air tools repeatedly you will be better off with a larger reservoir capacity. The capacity of this compressor is fine for me as I can run it to fill and then take it to where I need it as it is not too cumbersome and has a sturdy carry handle.

Good all rounder but very loud.
Pros: Fantastic value and a great little compressor with the added bonus of paying over 5 months. Cons: brought to replace a compressor I used for air brushing mainly. This does the job, however it is really very loud if it is to be seated next to you and it requires a drier filter on the air feed. Can see this being a good all rounder if you dont mind the noise. I am going to place this in the utility area and run a line to my hobby room. 👍

Dead out of the box.
Ok. So I bought this because the price was good. I thought I’d give Black and Decker a go, I’m normally a bit of a tool snob and go for the better brands, I figure you get what you pay for. I should have listened to my own advice. Basically it was dead out of the box. If you smack it on the top (I used a torch) it’ll burst into life, just to die again a few seconds later. I don’t know if it’s an electrical fault or mechanical, either way it’s shoddy. Incidentally, the listing says 77 db. The sticker on the side of the air tank states 97. I’ll never know which one it was.

Great little compressor
Had this about two months now, great bit of kit. I use it for my pin gun &for blowing sawdust away & pumping tyres up. Did not think I could use my pin gun with it but I can, I can fire 21 25mm pins in before the compressor kicks in.great little 12L compressor

Fantastic little compressor! Good for sand blasting small to medium jobs!
Good little compressor. I use mine for sand blasting wooden sculptures to give a nice effect. Works very well and is plenty sturdy for what I need. Make sure not to touch the motors hot spot as it burns! 😅
