These are perfection. I have been a connoisseur of the pecan bear claw (or "turtle") for many years and have tried them from chocolatiers around the US and internationally. These are among the best. They arrive in a styrofoam chest with dry ice to keep them as fresh as possible and they are shipped very quickly, well within the estimated delivery "window." The milk chocolate is creamy and smooth and melts evenly to blend with a soft caramel that is buttery and sweet; the pecans are very fresh as well (I prefer turtles with larger pecan pieces or pecan halves, but because the pecans are so fresh, the pecan pieces work well with this recipe). I have not tasted a true praline since the last time I visited the South; these are the real deal. Fresh jumbo pecan halves and large pieces shimmering with the praline butter-sugar candy coating. Because of the quality of ingredients and freshness, I think the price is exactly right (perhaps even slightly lower than it could be). I will re-order for myself and also give these to special friends or family as gifts; they make a wonderful impression.

Product arrived 100% melted and hot! The single star is for inadequate thought into shipping this. We have enjoyed this product many times and love the goodies, but shipping destroyed the taste in our mouths!
