Perfect....We were able to fix our fire pit in a matter of minutes. Our grandkids are so happy that they can roast marshmallows again! Bonus, it arrived a day earlier than expected!

Great valve when I added a ceramic fireplace log set. I installed valve outside of house and used a 1/2" coupler and nipple to connect valve to escutcheon through the wall. I needed to purchase a longer valve key to make everything work.

The valve works fine, though they probably should make it more clear that this is a "multi-turn" valve. Most gas valves today you turn about 1/2 turn (on the face of a clock) to open or shut. This one requires probably 6 full turns to fully open. However, you normally can get enough gas flow with just a few turns, but it can be a bit tedious to turn that many times for each turn on and turn off. Other than that, it is of good quality and has been working just fine.

Quick replacement for my gas fireplace- once I got under there. Mine had been out of commission due to a leak on the valve whenever we would use the gas. I had converted it to a wood burning fireplace for several years until I decided to get under the house to swap it out. My flame tube was heavy duty black pipe, so no damage to the burner when we were using wood. Looks great and the family is happy
