Wonderful variety of wildflowers! Easy to grow.
I love these seeds and have purchased them a few different times. I highly recommend starting them in the fall AND spring. They are annuals and perennials so a lot of the flowers will not bloom until the second year. Be patient with these and make sure you weed well before planting. I planted some last year and the annuals sowed themselves in the ground again and the perennials are blooming for the first time this year! I added two more big patches this year and the annuals are already starting to bloom, while the perennials will grow mostly roots this year. It took around two or three months to be noticeable but they look wonderful! It really does have 30,000 seeds- the wildflowers seeds are just so incredibly small. To plant them you simply scatter them and pat them down onto the soil with a shovel. You do not cover them with dirt so make sure you water well but slowly and make sure there isn't a super heavy rainfall coming. It will wash away the seeds if there is too much flow.

Will grow without ANY care
We put in fresh sod in the back yard and left a 40x6 ft area in the back for wildflowers since the yard backs up to a pond. This section had been graded so it was just bare dirt, kind of a hard pack clay. I literally threw the seeds in this area in the beginning of May. It was raining. We went on vacation for two weeks. Then we had lots of rain all through May and June. I thought that most of the seeds had washed away. I had not covered it with soil, or raked it in, or watered it in the dry month of July. I thought only weeds & grasses had come up, but I started seeing buds in July, and now more in August. Despite doing NOTHING to help it along, I have a bunch of wildflowers in every color! I can't wait to see what happens next year, and if these will reseed. Regardless, I am very happy with my purchase.

None of these seeds sprouted for me despite other seeds doing well in same general area.
I planted these seeds per instructions on the same date a few weeks ago that I broadcast spread two fields of white clover seeds. The white clover is now nearly an inch tall but I have seen ZERO emergence from the seeds from this purchase. I know what areas I seeded with these wildflower seeds vs. the clover seeds, and there's NOTHING where the flower should be coming up despite adequate growing conditions. As there are a million variables involved I don't know WHY none of these seeds sprouted, I can just report that for me I had zero success with them, and I generally have 'pretty good luck' when it comes to plants.

Very poor germination on my batch . Will update in case their just coming up late due to area and care .
I gave this only a 3 . Have had them in the ground over 3 weeks . Watered daily and they were in a sheltered area with the weather between 55 and 80 during the day and never colder then 45 for a few hours at night . Saw very little germination only what looked like clover and spotty . So on the third week we ordered another variety of seed for the Midwest . Sowed them and they germinated very well in 7 days . They are different flower so I will keep tabs and if these come up I will add stars later . However right now I am pretty reserved about these . I wouldn't say don't buy but I went with ones for Sunny Midwestern seeds with the other batch and got a 1/4 pound for less that germinated quicker then the instructions stated and we know that due to location planted . We did plant both seed lines in one area too . Hopefully these just take longer to come up . I like the mix of per bi and annuals . The other just has per and annuals . Hoping I can get to where I still have a nice flower arrangement even if I can't seed in spring . Hope to find some nice bulbs to add also . Maybe I got a bad batch allot looked like dust . We gave them 3 weeks to germinate and watered daily like I said but never left the ground sloppy wet . The top would get dry with just under damp all the time . More comments in a month to come .

Blooming!!
I planted these seeds at the end of May or beginning of June. A lot of them have come up and are blooming, so I'm very happy with that. (And I usually have a horrible black thumb!) There also are a ton of grasses & weeds, and I don't know enough about wildflowers to know which are supposed to be there and which aren't. I planted the seeds over the recently dug burial spot of my friend's horse, so they're in a place where there was grass recently. I also fertilized the spot with horse manure, since that was free and on-hand. And since horses eat hay, I'm wondering if that's where some of the tall grass came from. I have included photos so you can see the plot, both weeds and flowers. And maybe you can figure out what's what!

Good Selection
Germination was good and the flowers are pretty. I had a late start on planting them, because I had to clear out weeds and then wait for it to quit raining. With the first bag, I used the wrong spreader setting. So I put out a second bag. Those are coming along nicely, except they require summer watering. In CA, we usually plant wildflowers in fall/winter for spring flowers, so I might distribute more seeds later. The bags are a good size and seem to contain quite a few varieties. I haven't seen any foxglove, but the larkspur, malva and poppies are in bloom.Update May2020. Different varieties are blooming this year including calendula and sweet william. But the malva is kind of taking over the whole area and I will have to cut it back or thin the plants out.

Weeds
When I purchased these , I was expecting a luscious bed of flowers. Instead, they look like weeds and are taking up a substantial amount of my flower space.

Very few seeds grew
This is a big sack of seeds, for me it was not a good buy. It could be my soil conditions, or the bad year. But about 2 foot by 2 foot area had some very sparse growth, the rest did nothing.I'd probably buy again but create better conditions
