I am very happy
I own a Ninja OG751 and could have bought a griddle for it. I bought this larger one for open box for less. My only complaint is the griddle does not latch into its "feet," only laying on it - making sideways storage difficult. Thus, I leave on the counter (and use it most days). I have a deep counter next to the frig with a line of my electronics. Installed a shelf for two with this underneath. It is "small" in the world of large griddles. This is EXACTLY the largest it can be and still fit in the dishwasher. I like to at least occasionally put everything in the dishwasher for disinfecting. One of the FAQs asks what to do when you cannot scrub it clean by hand. The answer is the dishwasher. Not needed with a better scrubber (Scrub Daddy). Easily fits in my sink. 👍 I own a cast iron griddle but wanted something larger. Cast iron can leech. Of all of the micronutrients, iron is one of the riskiest to overload. Ceramic lasts a few years, and it warps. No more ceramic or iron or steel for me. Aluminum is another problematic material that can result in lead contamination but only if the pan is not anodized or coated with some a PTFE-based coating that is PFOA free, like this is. There is no evidence of any toxicity for ingesting PTFE coatings. Even Teflon is safe today because Teflon has been manufactured without PFOA since 2013. Coated anodized aluminum has the advantage of being more durable (than Teflon). Bella XL Ceramic Titanium can be used with metal utensils but who still uses them anymore? Bottom line: the used material is the best you can get. It's inexpensive, heavy, and even temps. This preheats in under two minutes (much faster than iron) and cools quickly as well. Very even pancakes. I prefer my steaks on the outdoor grill (for the smokey hickory flavor) as this doesn't get hot enough (top is 400F). Beside pancakes, smash burgers are a must make. You need two 2.7-ounce hamburger balls to smash, flip, and hit with American cheese for the perfect and FAST double burger. When toasting a bun, use mayonnaise, not butter. Fried onions and mushrooms for a cheesesteak (sous vide steak), Cauliflower Griddle Cakes, and homemade tortillas are good too. Fried rice is made in a wok and chicken needs to be air cooled (at the factory) and then deep fried. lol

Great quality and ease of cleaning
This is the second DASH griddle I have purchased...First one I purchased was aqua...I had it for a number of years b efore the non stick finish was wearing off. I checked out a lot of griddles and ended up with another on of the DASH ones..I ordered black this time...It is a great little griddle..perfect for egg sandwiches and all other types of fried foods...I like that the griddle pan comes off and can be washed in the sink etc....the plastic part is also easy to clean....LOVE IT !

My favorite cookware!
It’s a great thing to have in your kitchen. It’s a game changer. It was definitely worth the price. The cooking process was a breeze. It heats up quickly and cooks the food evenly. It uses very little oil to prevent sticking.

Heat distrubution isnt perfect, among other issues.
First of all, for the ease of cleaning, sturdiness of the Teflon, and its well designed drip catcher, I can honestly recommend this product and say its probably the best griddle cooker money can buy at its price. I bought this for 60$. My first Griddle was a Presto 07061. It was bigger 26 by 12, it was poorly designed, drip pan didnt catch the grease, took almost 5 mins to heat up, Teflon wore off in just 3 months due to its bumpy design, and due to the sheer amount of Teflon coming off of it, I considered it a health hazard. It did however heat up fairly evenly at first but quickly the Teflon melted near the heating element. This product is the opposite. Its only 23 by 12 inches, drip pan did catch grease very nicely, took less than a minute to heat up, Teflon is extremely sturdy, the product is unbelievably smooth which is a good thing for the Teflon, and it is much easier to clean due to the smooth surface. Both are the same exact prices: 60$ The reason a griddle is so useful is due to two primary reasons: It heats fast, it heats evenly. This product does both of these things good enough to justify its cost. Not to mention its easier to clean, larger than a pan, cooks faster, etc. Now the further you get from the heating element, the cooler it becomes. So make sure to always put your bread to the furthest left side and meat to furthest right. As for how well does this stack up to other brands? As I already stated, it stacks up pretty darn well. Its not perfect, and I am sure there are better brands but it is a safe choice. I will update if I encounter any issues down the road.

Great everyday griddle and very easy to use
This griddle is super convenient and perfect for everyday cooking. It heats evenly the nonstick surface works really well and cleanup is easy thanks to the removable plate. I love using it for pancakes, eggs, and grilled sandwiches. Simple practical and works exactly as expected.

Wide width, Slim profile
Funny story: my husband has been saying for 3 yrs he wants a griddle, this year for Christmas we both bought each other a griddle. And that was just one of two gifts where we both got each other the same thing. Haha. He got a much more expensive Blackstone one with a lid, you can even get accessories like a stand for it and a carrying case, problem is it’s huge and I cannot find a place to store it. Wont fit under the stove or in a tall slim cabinet (and if you do try to turn it upright the heavy lid is falling off), and my other choices on the bottom are corner cabinets where maybe there’s room inside but I can’t even get it through the door. It cooks nice but that thing is a beast I hate it lol. I finally had to clear a shelf in the linen closet for it. Plus the surface of that one is more of a square not a rectangle. I can see that one maybe being cool for grill-side use, or for tailgating or camper use. THIS one though is so much better even though it was half the price! I’ve cooked on both and they both function the same - even heating, nonstick works beautifully, cleans up w just a paper towel so far. But what I really love about this one is it’s so slim and pretty easy to stow in most any cabinet or drawer where you might put cookie sheets. Also I love the wider width, it’s great for flipping pancakes. I was a little unsure before I used it about the surface because it looks a little textured, but seems perfectly smooth when you flip the pancakes for example it’s not like the cooked side of the pancake looks textured it looks smooth. I think maybe the texture actually just makes it easier to slide a spatula under the food. I highly recommend this product.

Amazing griddle, so much room and great heating
I love this griddle pan SO much. It’s really long so there’s lots of space to cook, super easy to clean, and it heats very fast and pretty evenly. My only warning: if you’re getting it because it’s dishwasher safe, make sure you measure to see if it’ll fit in your dishwasher!! It’s too long for mine, oops. It’s super easy to clean though, so no big deal.
