Review: Excellent book for all - - Fascinating! I actually bought this for my 9 year old nephew as he is obsessed with planes. I thought whether it would be too advanced or "boring" for him but he was ecstatic and couldnt wait to start reading it. There were parts that were easier to read and things you could make but also tons of info that I found it difficult to give back to him once I'd started looking myself. I would definitely recommend this for anyone! Review: Enjoyable flights of fact and fancy! - Anyone with even a passing interest in aircraft and flying (such as myself) should enjoy this book. It is really a compendium of aviation related items - short essays, profiles of aircraft that never made it off the drawing board, full-colour portraits of the world's great aeroplanes, and quirky lists of films, fictional flyers, and even flight-inspired music - and is perfect for casual dipping and browsing. I enjoyed reading it and learned a great deal along the way. A pity that inadequate editing has left a few typos uncorrected. But for that it would have been a five-star rating.
