I'm using this in my living room. The recent smoke weather in Seattle worsen my allergy. I turned it on for the first time and closed the door behind me. I came back in an hour later, and I was amazed at how much fresher the air was in the room. No odors from food, trash or anything else. It has three speed, I leave it on most of time, It is quieter than I expect. Another good feature I like is the filter is easy to change. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase.

UPDATE: 09.24.19 I was able to find replacement filters on Amazon. So, this is a big issue resolved, at least for now. On the downside - - the "Change Filter Light" doesn't work worth a sh#t on any of my three iTvanila filters (turning the light off,) so I've just taped a DYMO tag with the date on it to remember when to change the filter.Very easy to assemble. Purifier is kept next to kitty liter box and really helps with odors. Tried to find replacement filter - none available! Wrote company (iTvanila) and they want me to write a positive review, first, send them a picture of the review and then they'd send me a filter. WTF??? If no filters available, will have to throw away units. What a waste. Be forewarned - if no replacement filters, you'd be better off buying another product that provides better service and filter replacement availability.

This purifier is pretty good and I place it in my bedroom. My roommate has a humidifier and now there is one more humidifier. What a healthy life. One thing I wanna mention is that it is a big one and maybe you need some room for it. I do not suggest you use it during your sleep if you can not bear any noise when sleeping. You can change to night mode and the noise could be quite small but my roommate can not bear it so I turn it off and use in daytime.

My roommate smokes like a chimney and has lived in the apt for few yrs. I just moved in and l am allergic to smoke. There fore I get this to improve my living environment. I can barely tell when it's on and the high setting has little noise, but honestly it's just like having a big fan whirring. It is definitely tolerable. I keep it on medium all the time.but cleared the air of all smoke within 24 hrs. This works great! It removes majority of the smoke out of my room.

Awesome product. I like this purifier at the very sight. Its color was beautiful, and its design was cute. It worked so efficiently with the three speed. Plus, the machine almost has no noise while working. Most importantly, it really purified my kitchen, and I am thinking about getting a second one for my room.

Because there is a cat in the house, cat hair often flies around and there is a cat smell. With this air purifier, the smell of the home is well controlled, and there are not as many cat hairs scattered. What's more, this air purifier is very quiet. Even if you drive to the maximum mode, you can sleep peacefully without being woken up. My cat has not been affected, which is really good.

I felt Seattle is a great place. It’s not hot during summer and not too cold at winter. However, Seattle’s weather start to change. It is very hot in the summer and very cold in winter. It is very dry and with an active volcano. That makes the air quality changes drastically. It feels like dustier and a lot people start to wear mask. I always stay at home because of the horrible air. With this air purifier I can finally have a great and purer air at home. I can finally enjoy my day and not to worry about breath in those dusty air may effect my health. It is a must to have item in my are!!! I can have a free minded day and not worry about my family as well!!!

Unit cleans differently than common brands such as Honeywell & others. Air purifiers work by creating a 'vortex of air' causing particles to be trapped by the current and sucked through the filter.This unit is different. Air intake is at bottom instead of a side panel. It may be more effective for capturing heavier particles released when walking on floor. Heavier dust such as lead usually does not circulate high off the ground. However, there is no way of knowing whether this filter picks up particles such as this or recirculates them. There is nothing to reference.Effective odor elimination. Compared to Honeywell unit this unit reduces odors more effectively. Room is left with a clean smell. Dust accumulation seems to remain the same as other.- Works for small rooms such as office.- Don't buy if you require cleaning for diagnosed health challenges due to lack of reference.- Choose over more expensive units for odor reduction. Such as if you smoke indoors and desire ventilation, or for rooms with cat litter, etc.- Be aware special filter is required for replacement.Best of luck.Conor
