Replacement ROKU Enhanced Voice Remote w/Headphone Jack/Pairing Button/Voice Control/Lost Remote Finder for Roku 4K Players Ultra Premiere/+ Stick/+ Roku 4/ Roku 3

The Volume button broke on my Roku 3 remote and since I always use the headphones (so as not to wake up my neighbors), I needed another remote with a headphone jack. After searching Roku's site and not getting much satisfaction, I found this one on Amazon. It took me two minutes to pair it with my Roku 3 and it works perfectly!!! Once again I can enjoy stereo playback through my headphones! Thank you very much!

I have not used voice recognition, thus no rating. I do wish there were presets for more commonly used apps such as Hulu and Amazon Prime or a way to assign them, but the information given about the remote, combined with reviews from owners, made it seem as though it may or may not have this capability. In fact, when I clicked on the item within my order while awaiting its arrival, it took me to a remote that did have that capacity. It was not until mine arrived that I realized what was occurring with the misdirect. I believe the problem lies with my model of Roku (Roku 3, but several years old) rather than with the remote. I’m fine with the functionality of the access to apps, but my wife just wants to touch the Hulu button and be taken there. (She was not a happy camper when I was routing all of my components through an HDMI switch! Now that is not a factor so the 44 year marriage is in tact!) My main reason for the purchase was for the headphone jack. My old remote’s jack had developed problems with maintaining a consistent, quality connection and the sound was cutting in and out no matter what cord, headphones, etc. we’re used. That problem is solved so I am happy. The quality of materials used in construction of this remote and its feel are far better. (I do prefer the “OK” button being beneath the arrows as in my original, but all of my Roku TV remotes are like this so it’s nothing new. The seller did a great job of getting the product to me well within the time promised and the price, although about 1/3 of the price paid for the entire package originally, was fair and competitive with other vendors I felt we’re trustworthy. One word of caution: When searching for a remote, be sure you are not purchasing a remote “cover” only. Mixed in with a remote search, it can be (at least it was for me) a bit confusing, if not misleading.

This remote works better than the broken garbage remote Roku sold me for the same price. I have a Roku 3 with RF and my wife uses the headphone jack while she’s working out. There official Roku remote arrived brand new with a broken headphone jack.

I wasn't aware that there was such a product that could hook headphones to and the rest of the family did not have to hear. I bought this for my husband, who has trouble sleeping and will sit up and watch TV, only problem he has hearing problems, so we hear the entire programs running even try to run box fans to drown out the TV noise. Since we bought this it has been so peaceful. He actually will hook his headphones to it during the day and works amazing. I can carry on my day without hearing loud TV sounds and having to constantly ask him to turn it down. He had with this he can hear the words more clearer and loves it.

Dont waste 5 bucks on the other Roku remotes on Amazon. This is the one that works, the one with a headphone jack, the one that pairs with your Roku, the one that works just like the original.

The remote was not 3rd party which did cause a higher price but I could not fine one with all the same buttons on it and the pairing feature. I'm sue others worked fine but since this every day, I wanted one that was original equipment.

After checking with the very helpful seller that the remote would support my roku model, order was placed. Item arrived promptly, and after a simple pairing procedure (explained in instruction sheet provided), it works perfectly. Even with voice commands, which even the original roku remote did not have. My only suggestion is that the seller start shipping overseas, as there must be a real demand for quality replacement remotes for roku. (I had to ship mine to family in US, as I live overseas.) In short, a quality product! Don't bother with nasty cheap alternatives - just buy this one.
