TetraxXWAY Universal Holder

This is a superb and universal mobile phone mounting system. It is very quick to mount or dismount the phone (just slide rather than pull it off) and in a year or so of owning it, the phone has only fallen off once due to the magnet not being strong enough, when I hit a large pothole. My only slight gripe is that the rubber gripper that fits on the car vent does need tightening occasionally and if you don't notice it, it can fall off that way too. However, there is no doubt this is a great product and I love not having to change my in-car mount every time I change my phone.Quick tip: The small, hemispherical magnet that must be glued to the back of the phone to attach to the XWay does prevent the phone lying flat which can be annoying. To avoid this, buy a quick-release case for your mobile and attach the glue-on magnet to the back of the case instead of the phone; that way you can just take it out of the case when you need it to lie flat.

I love this little bracket it's brilliant so discreet and yet so functional, only thing is you have to let the sticky disc set. If you try to use it before the sticky has set it will fall off. Also, a little pointer, I got one of those clip on cases for my phone and stuck the magnetic dot to that as I found out the hard way that its practically impossible to get it off again if you need to send the phone in for replacement, so I lost those dots to the workshop.

The holder does not grip the vent very well. Even when tightened up as much as possible, removing and attaching the device can cause it to slip slightly.It would benefit from longer vertical supports for longer devices like smartphones. Pressing the lower Home button can sometimes make it feel like it's going to ping off.I love the fact I can use this for multiple devices and currently use it for both my phone and satnav.

I bought one of these for my HTC Incredible S. It uses a small metal self-adhesive plaque that fastens to back of the phone to match the magnets on the holder. The kit comes with a number of different sized plaques so that different devices can be mounted on the holder. The only draw-back was that I needed to use packing to get it to grip the very thin slats on my air vent properly - it would have been helpful if suitable packing were provided in the kit. To ensure it could be removed, I fastened the plaque to the  Case Mate Barely There Case HTC Incredible S - Black . Apart from the slight issue over packing, this is a brilliant product.

I've already bought 3 of these! The easy installation and strong magnet makes this holder the best choice for whom that want to have their phone safe and easy to access while driving. Get yours ASAP!

Doesn't hold my iPhone X never mind a tablet. Have been told by Tetrax that this is due to the fact that the iPhone X has a glass back which doesn't allow the magnet to operate fully. Ok for earlier models.

Excellent the magnet is very strong! but a slight problem I'm having is attaching it to the vent in the car! The clip is not strong enough and the phone keeps falling!Also the other attachment were u can replace the clip with a sticky pad does not stick on to texture surfaces! I had to use super-glue on the pad and also the clip itself so it dont slip off.

its so good i bought another one for holidays. phone never falls off, easy to use, grips the vent well. plus it comes with multiple adhesive disks.
