Q: What size are the strings?

Great question. The guitar description doesn't tell you the gauge. Hmmmm The extra set of strings doesn't indicate gauge either. Hmmm I got out the old micrometer... Here's the answer: high E is 0.09" and the low E is 0.42 inches exactly. So after a little research I find that these strings are considered to be 9's. I hope this info helps. I set this beginner player up and "tuned" every point as well as installed an adjustable nut so I can play slide. With a good fender Amp it sounds fantastic (the little 3 watt Amp that comes with the bundle is junk)
