Anatomy of the Horse

I am a first year veterinary student and I was told that purchasing this book was a must for veterinary school; and I am not disappointed in my purchase! This book is great for looking into and describing anatomy. If you're a visual learner the pictures will be great for you. The descriptions can be a bit confusing but nothing asking a professor or just dissecting the text can't solve.One thing that kind of bugged me, even though it is not a big deal, was that the pages that the index refers you too are wrong sometimes. They are only about a page off and it has only happened a couple times but that was slightly confusing for me.Overall a great book, kind of pricey but well worth it, especially if you are interested in studying equine medicine this will be a great resource for you

Honestly one of the best anatomy books I have come across. Used it throughout my anatomy course as a first year veterinary student, and I would definitely purchase again. Clear, beautiful photos that were nicely labeled. Didn't have every last detail that some professors will want you to know, but will be an excellent reference for clinics and practice later in life. Definitely worth the investment.

GREAT book! It came on time, had a lot of illustrations... just a good go-to book on Horse Anatomy. Well worth it!

Great book, a must for anyone with horses

I'm an equine vet and I still use this a few times a year. It's beautiful and worth the price just on its own merit as a collection of medical drawings, but it's also super comprehensive when it comes to horse anatomy.

As a Veterinary Student going into equine medicine this book was very useful for high quality equine anatomy diagrams. It was highly recommended by many equine clinicians and anatomy professors.

I ordered this despite another person saying the image quality was poor. I read that the content was very good however. Due to the nature of the books content I felt that the image quality was as per the other persons review. Very poor and looked like they had been scanned at a low resolution. Not something that you would expect for 1. The price. 2. The images are something vital in studying. Such a shame.

Good for vet students learning equine anatomy. It is quite a large book which is great in terms of the clarity of the diagrams, but it can be a pain to fit on the bookshelf! Regardless of that, I love it!

This is fantastic detailed book that is worth every penny.. A must for veterinary/ equine management students. The diagrams are clear and easy to understand.

An excellent reference tool with clear diagrams. There are one or two minor typos which does slightly make me wonder if there are any more not so obvious mistakes - not expected in such a detailed book.
