What vintage guitar users fear the most when these parts need to be replaced is if it will cause the sound to change significantly. Tremolo Spring is a part just as vital as the saddle and they are responsible for the fat sound of the 50's and 60's Stratocaster. Most newly manufactured springs have different characteristics from the vintage. They are with strong tension. As one of the raw vintage product, Raw Vintage researched the vintage and matched the tension of the spring. And with the prerequisite of using 5 or 4 springs together, they were able to achieve superb torque feel and stabilized arming that were made possible from the difference in weight and contraction percentage. And with the increased weight they were able to create Fat Tone. These can be used as a replacement part of the new reissued guitars, enabling their owners to enjoy the characteristic closer to the original. Review: Excellent springs - Every time I buy a guitar that require this kind of springs I do this . I order Raw Vintage before having the instrument. Then when I have the guitar in hand I remove the back cover , throw away what in inside and install it his guys. That’s it. That’s the first step even before test pickups. Since I discovered this springs I honestly didn’t know about the importance of the springs in this kind of set up. Now I highly recommend them. Playability and feel sky rocket. Stability increases. I tell you a little secret... shh... buy also tusq nut 5000 series for strat and remove the string tree from the head stock and your tremolo will play more stable that a violin. Shh... don’t tell anybody Review: Great Inexpensive Upgrade! Get 'Em! - These are really cool! My Strat stays in tune. I use all 5 and float my trem a little bit. Not a Hendrix dive bomber, more Gilmour color type uses. Give them a try! Pros love 'em too! ## Features - Wire Diameter: 1.3mm - Overall Diameter: 8.86mm - Nickel Plated ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01B7PE2SC | | Best Sellers Rank | #40,858 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #663 in Electric Guitar Hardware | | Body Material Type | Nickel | | Brand | Raw Vintage | | Brand Name | Raw Vintage | | Color | Silver | | Compatible Devices | Guitar | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 104 Reviews | | Included Components | 5 Tremolo Springs | | Item Dimensions | 3 x 8 x 10 inches | | Manufacturer | Raw Vintage | | Manufacturer Part Number | part_B01B7PE2SC | | Material | Alloy Steel, Nickel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel, Nickel | | Model Name | RVTS-1 | | Model Number | RVTS-1 | | Number of Items | 5 | | Number of Pieces | 5 | | Set Name | 5-piece | | Size | Small | | Sound Profile | Fat Tone | | Style | Vintage | | UPC | 855435005294 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Raw Vintage - **Color:** Silver - **Material:** Alloy Steel, Nickel - **Size:** Small - **Style:** Vintage ## Images ![Raw Vintage RVTS-1 5 Piece Tremolo Spring Set - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81GT3BRwnZL.jpg) ![Raw Vintage RVTS-1 5 Piece Tremolo Spring Set - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81e6g1+5EML.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can I buy different length lefthanded trem arms?** A: This product does not affect your tremolo's ability to use different sized trem arms. These are only springs. **Q: Are these any different/better/worse/same than the Fender Black ones? $28 vs $ 11** A: Better !! **Q: Are these any different/better/worse/same than the Fender Vintage silver ones? are they worth the $$$** A: I think they made a difference because I can use all 5 springs and they felt like 3 springs ! ___ I have them on 4 of my guitars !! **Q: Anyone compare these to genuine fender vintage style springs?** A: These are softer I had to use all 5, but they work smooth. I like these better. I’ve got a 64 RI sunburst/rosewood Strat. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent springs *by M***Z on June 26, 2021* Every time I buy a guitar that require this kind of springs I do this . Pros love 'em too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Go-To Trem Springs for New Strat Builds for No Real Reason at All! *by S***T on January 29, 2026* These weaker springs allow you to run 5 instead of 3 in your Stratocaster without the trem feeling overly stiff. They add sproinginess to the overall sound of the guitar, which I mostly hear unplugged. This springs are completely unnecessary in the grand scheme of things, but if you want to do a mod just to do a mod or are building a new parts-o-caster, this isn't a bad mod to do. See photo of parts-o-caster with extra sproinginess attached. ## Frequently Bought Together - Raw Vintage RVTS-1 5 Piece Tremolo Spring Set - Fender Guitar Strap Lock with Chrome Buttons and Wood Mounting Screws, 1 Set of 2 Security Guitar Strap Locks for Guitar and Guitar Strap, Black and White Felt Washers, 1 Set - Fender Ultra String Guides (2) Electric Guitar Hardware, Chrome --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/69340413-raw-vintage-rvts-1-5-piece-tremolo-spring-set](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/69340413-raw-vintage-rvts-1-5-piece-tremolo-spring-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
