ok firstly, please make sure you check your sizing before ordering the product, and go through the instruction manual thoroughly as the product isn’t the easiest thing to put on! The top part of this brace does run a bit long, but once you got it down, it works, miracles!heres the sizing chart incase anyone needs it -->WAIST from 25" to 49" and THIGHS 15" to 32" in circumference for both sides of the body, right or left leg. Make sure to measure from your waist and hip to get an accurate gauge of whether this product would fit you!I never write reviews for things that I buy but I have been really helped by this brace so I thought I would share my personal experience.After almost 3 years of hamstring and sciatica pain, which started with a hamstring pull while skiing, using this support made an immediate difference. Previously, to alleviate the pain I had tried PT, massage, NSAIDs, and prednisone. Nothing helped. I like to stay active with yoga, spinning, and workout classes at the gym. The pain remained even though I modified my workouts to mitigate the aggravation. As soon as I began using the support during my workouts , the pain was greatly diminished.After a month or two the pain I was experiencing had practically disappeared. I can now sit in a car for hours without experiencing pain shooting up my leg which would begin 10 minutes after I’d began to drive. It takes a little playing and adjusting with the brace to get it just right, but once on it feels just awesome! and does not get in the way of exercise or any daily activitiesMake sure to check your sizing! I'm 5ft and 100lbs, even though a lot of the hip braces here on Amazon technically fit me, they really don't. The ATX braces actually come in a smaller size that's a better fit. Even if they do charge more for the smaller size.It's a hip brace, it will never be genuinely comfortable. It will feel unbearably hot in the summer and leave you in a puddle of sweat. The velcro will be useless after a couple months. I've been wearing these braces almost daily for years now, and that's just the nature of a hip brace.These help stabilize the joint and keep pain to a minimum for me. They make me feel more confident in daily activities, so I'm not constantly worrying about aggravating my injury.

I ordered the larger size thinking that the leg area would be bigger as well, and I was wrong. I have bigger thighs, and that would have been a great consideration to make that area of the brace longer as well. The brace closure closes on the inside of the leg and not the outside. If this would have been for my left leg, it would have been ok since everything is geared for the left and the closure would have then been on the outside, but I need the right side done, and not to look like I am playing with my crotch because the ends rub together on the inside of the legs and come apart. I am also not a "short waisted" person, so it pulls down on the hips. The item is well made, but not a good fit for me. Maybe you can make a left side one and a right side one too.

I can't believe how much this brace has helped my sciatic nerve pain and back pain. Typically when I get an episode of pain, I'd be out for almost 2 weeks. This time, I needed to figure something out asap because I had a day project in 2 days and couldn't back out. Saw this and read reviews, prayed that it'll work after ordering it. I tried it on right away and right away, I felt like I could stand up a little straighter instead of being hunched over. I'm not sure how it helps and but it really does! This in conjunction with a heat pad got me up and ready for my project. I still had to wear it but without it, I couldn't have done so in such a short period of time. It does take a little adjusting the straps but once you get it to work, it's good to go. If you're considering on buying it, just do it. You won't regret it!

I ordered this Brace because I was suffering with lower back pain and Sciatica pain it was absolutely painful and horrible!! I put this brace on the next day after arrival and I have to say that the pain has gone away!! I thought it was in my head at first how could this be?? I have had it on ever since and its absolutely wonderful!! Instant relief for both pains. I suffer from my left knee as I need a knee replacement and its putting a lot of strain on my lower back and now the Sciatic nerve is also inflamed I believe its because of the overcompensating of my right side. I am so happy with this purchase that I ordered my daughter one as she suffers from Sciatic pain on a regular basis. She called me and said I dont know what is going on with this thing you bought me but it works!!! I have no pain! I totally recommend this brace. I wear it under my clothes and its great it is not bulky or anything you cant even tell I have it on.

I fell off my bike and pulled my groin. Because I can’t exactly not walk, I ordered this for some extra stability to help me recover. All the reviews made it sound great, so I was excited. When I first put it on, it almost made my pain worse- but I figured I would give it a shot. I’m on my second day of wear, I can’t exercise in it (which was the goal of buying this), and I still have pain when I walk, worse than before. It does not provide adequate compression or support for healing, and it frequently slides when I move, no matter how tight I make it. I will be returning this.
