These are super easy to load, easily handled when resetting, and of course, very effective in triggering when the mouse goes in for a nibble. I've had 7+ kills so far using Teddie's Super Chunk PB, which also happens to be my own favorite PB. So far, I've had maybe 1 or 2 empty bait but untriggered traps. This could be due to ants in my crawl space. These traps are just as easy to reset as the first time setting them up, and the lever keeps your fingers away from the dead mouse side, unlike the wooden ones with kill bar. These can spring up with quite a force, landing almost a foot away from the setup spot, despite not needing much force to open up. Best sub-10 dollar purchase I've spent. If you have a pest service that uses bait stations, it helps to have the boxes placed around to find rodent activity, and then I just set up a lot of these snap traps around locations where the poison bait has been consumed. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think the "poison" bait used is more effective at feeding the mice and allowing them to reproduce so that they can continue to sell you a service.

These things are great! My wife was skeptical because they didn't have a strong grip after they engaged. I told her it's not about the grip after it engages it's about the snap when it engages. Sure enough I was right as usual and these things have killed three mice single-handedly in 2 days! Great product. Reusable and removable bait tray. 10 bucks! Can't beat it

What can I say? Bejeezuz, it's so frustrating and nonchalant to find a good method for killing annoying mice and rodents that might as well be claimed on your taxes at the end of the year! I searched through multiple methods and traps and came across these as they seemed simple and effective just like the easy set traps. I like the addition of a separate bait cup compartment that slides out and the instructions are so clear a two year old could understand. The way it's designed forces Jerry the mouse to get on the pressure plate and reach for the bait which in turn snaps his annoying little trouser(Excuse my profanity). This trap killed the very existence of pestilence that has been plaguing me for the last two weeks and I was on the verge of quitting the trapping methods and just getting a pellet gun and shooting the little jerk, but I digress. Jerry was killed within four hours of me setting the trap! My only complaint is the traps do feel cheap and could use a bit more strength as they only work for smaller mice, I couldn't imagine these working for Templeton the rat(unless you glued on needles). Conclusively, I'd rate it 4 stars and it's not a bad bargain as you get 6 traps that can be re used.

Used outside to catch voles that were turning front yard into swiss cheese. Soaked in bucket of hot water to clean and reused. Easy to reset and peanut butter works.

This item has generally good reviews left by others, but my experience with these were less... much less than... satisfactory. I purchased these to catch mice getting into my chicken house at night. I set them up where the mice are entering and in other nearby locations. I have been setting them out everyday for 5 days now. Using peanut butter as bait, I set up all 6 traps every evening. The next morning ALL 6 traps have been triggered but they have NOT caught anything. And, over the last 5 days, I have LOST 2 traps. I think the traps are TOO LIGHTWEIGHT to keep the mice that do get caught from running away with them... and it is sad when the mice are able to steal or run away with the traps I bought to catch them. (My adult kids were laughing when I told them that.) I have seen the mice in my chicken feeders and they are just smaller field mice... nothing too large. While these traps are VERY EASY to bait and set, I wish I DID NOT buy these because they seem much less effective than the old-fashioned wire spring traps I have used during many years past. I am hoping to be allowed to return the remaining ones I have of these, and in the meantime, I have purchased (and am waiting for them to arrive) 4 of the small plastic cube live traps that seem to have positive reviews and also, as extra insurance to avoid defeat again, I purchased Tomcat Mouse Killer Disposable Bait Stations. I hope I have better luck with those because I really don't want to have to return to using the old-fashioned wire spring traps that were effective, but I was always a little scared to handle when setting them out.

They work very well when they work. 3out of 6 dont work. Gave them another shot. This order the first 2 I tried to set would not work.
