Ignite English: Teacher Companion 1

We Home Educate and my 11yo is very into 'language arts' and English Lit. She loves her student version of this book as it has really exciting, engaging topics, texts and assignments and does not talk down to her or baby her, at all.However, the Teacher Companion was incredibly expensive for a Home Ed Parent to buy. I went halvesies with another Home Educating mum and that helps a bit. I didn't realise that after buying this book, it refers almost constantly to *additional* content you can access online for a further (exorbitant) fee. I contacted the publishers to ask if they did a Home Ed rate. They do not.I get that this price point makes sense if you are selling to schools and it is entirely their right to charge this much if schools are willing to pay... but just flagging that for the Home Ed niche it is quite a stretch.The book itself is helpful and has lots of ideas for extension activities, which can be fun and useful... but moving up through the levels, we may chose only to get the Student's Handbook.
