Works better on larger targets than 1/4" while not being so big as to seriously hinder velocity.

I purchased these to use at home regaining fine-motor skill and finger movement after a minor stroke. I used them to practice picking up small objects with my fingers, and they were very useful for that purpose. Just the right size and weight for my needs, and the price as good.
