Very protective

Pros: - High quality case. - Fits perfectly. All buttons work. S pen can be removed easily. - Great grip so it doesn't slide and fall. - Raised edges so the screen doesn't touch flat surfaces. - I've owned several Otterbox cases and never got a blooper or defect. Cons: - Bulky. It's hard to find a car mount that will fit a large phone like the Samsung Note with a thick case like this on it. - The rubber exterior shell gradually stretches out over time, and then the corners get caught on my purse when I try to pull it out. This is a minor inconvenience. I just buy a new Otterbox every year or so, to get one with a fresh tight rubber exterior.

This is a awesome, durable and very nice case. I have had it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for10 months so far and the case still looks and feels like the day I put it on my phone. I'm not one that drops my phone very often just an occasional accident maybe once or twice but it protected it. I wish there was a way to get a screen cover to stay on with a case but with the curved design of the phone screen on this Samsung phone now I'm not sure if its possible. I tried several screen protectors in the beginning of getting this phone. But honestly the screen is pretty durable and if I wouldnt have accidentally put my keys in the same pocket of my purse as my phone was in.. I wouldn't have any scratches on the screen but the keys did the only damage that day none since then. So that's the grip I have is wishing a screen cover would fit with this cover but I dont think it's the covers fault it's Samsung's curved screen design.

Secure fit and great protection, but lacks the built-in screen protector of past models. Still, the drop and port protection is superior to any other brand.

Am satisfied with this purchase. Have always used Otter products to protect my smartphones from being damaged and they've always done a very good job of it. This is a different model than those I used in the past but looks like it will perform as well as the other models I used in the past. I drop my $9xx smart phone at least 3-4 times each day so definitely need a very good protective cover on it. Happy that I have no problem accessing my on board stylus when this cover is in place. I would feel a little more secure if the lip on the sides of the cover was raised more than it is though because I think if phone fell from waist height and landed flat face down on a gravel surface I think it might crack the front glass because the lip of the cover is not very deep. Probably will order a different Otterbox model soon that has a deep lip on all sides just to give my phone screen a little more needed protection. PROS: easy to remove cover, attractive design, lightweight CONS: might not be best choice for a phone protection by those who tend to frequently drop their phones.

Sturdy case for maximum protection.....lasts a long time.....I have purchased this brand many time and it never disappoints

Best damn phone case. Dropped my phone on street, floor, etc..and this case really absorbs the shock. Also adds some grip ability to the phone. This is my 2nd one and the first lasted about 3.5 years before the inner housing finally cracking from a drop on the street. Phone is fine. The multi layer protection is spot on. One slight adjustment Ive had to make to this case is cutting off the power slot cover because when you lift it to plug your phone in, the rubber pushes down on the charger plug and can damage the way the phone and charger connect, causong a loose connection and poor charging. So just cut it off w scissors and you are golden.

Although the product works well, there were no definitive assembly instructions. The case itself is comprised of 3 different pieces that weren't apparent as the case was in one piece when delivered. The result for me was a cracked screen as I literally forced the phone into the case. What amounted to the instructions on the product box was a diagram of simply inserting the phone into the case (failing to mention that the case needed to be disassembled and built around the phone). I ultimately discovered this after trying to remove the case. My advice is to make sure you take the case apart before putting your phone in. I'd be open to talking with a rep if they contact me about helping me replace my screen. My phone is VERY sentimental as this phone was my younger brothers and he (tragically) is dead.

Bon produit mais a tendance à briser si on mamipule trop le protecteur du câble en chargeant. Trop cher payé pour ce problème.

My daughter went to open the input Protector at the bottom to charge her phone and the thing came right off. Terrible quality.
