ga-2100-1a2er Watch

This is my daily driver watch that goes with everything. It has been used and abused and still looks incredible.

Pros: Fits my 7-1/4" (7.25" / 184mm circumference) wrist quite comfortably with plenty of adjustment. I like the octagonal bezel with many different options of color and and dial. I enjoy the various modes it offers. It's nice being able to see UTC time and have timers as well as alarms. Since it's quartz/battery driven, I like not having to wind it or often adjusting the time compared to mechanical watches. Cons: I wish the hour and minute hand had a brighter luminescence but the on board light helps in the dark. It's also difficult to read the screen from 17min to 25min. Even worse from 3:17 to 3:25 when both the hour and minute hand are blocking the LCD screen. Overall: I love the watch. It has its minor issues but it wouldn't deter me.

Watch arrived on time and in good condition. Other reviews were correct about it being a little hard to set up but reviewing a u tube video and it made it a lot easier. Nice looking timepiece. The LCD is a little hard to see but how many times a day are you gonna look at the date? Overall I'd give the watch 4.5 out 5.

First off, I freaking LOVE G-SHOCK watches, however, as nice as this watch looks, it's way too small for men, unless you like tiny watches, then this is the watch for you. I broke my last G-SHOCK on the ship thanks to all the radiation on the flight deck so I thought it would be a great opportunity to get a new one, when this thing arrived and I put it on, I tried to convince myself that this watch was perfect... then after 2 days of wearing the dang thing, I just couldn't get over how pathetically tiny it was so I basically threw it in a drawer until I find someone to give it to. No worries, I'll buy another G-Shock but I just personally wouldn't buy this if you expect the larger GSHOCK watch... trust me... I thought it was for women and that somehow I accidentally ordered the wrong one but nope...

I giving 5 stars because I really like the looks and functionality of the watch. The hour/minute hands glow enough for me to tell the time in the dark. The only thing that needs help is a better light for setting alarms in the dark. If you are an Outdoors person (like me), I suggest using a Mini flashlight and strong teeth when trying to set alarms at night :-) Oh, I also am pleased with this watch band. This one is much softer than most of the rubber/synthetic bands that come with these watches. The first thing I usually do with a new watch is to find a much more comfortable band to fit. Not too easy with Casio G-Shock watches.

The watch is of course very accurate...that's a plus...but the black dial and blue markers are VERY hard to read, especially in low light. Even in bright light, including sunlight, you will need to have the watch at just the right angle to be able to read the digital "window". And even then, it's hard to see. I kept the watch, but really should have returned it. I purchased another version with a lighter dial that was easier to read. So this one stays in the drawer getting little or no time on my wrist. Bottomline...it looks good in the photos, but trust me, it's hard to read the dial!
