Really beautiful work and cracking story. Excited for next volume.

Rook, Captain of the Queen’s Guard, finds herself leading a tiger to Isola, meeting various characters and challenges along the way. With flashbacks which help, to some extent, to explain the goings-on, the plot becomes clearer towards the end of this volume with lovely ornate artwork.Certainly an enjoyable and interesting story to be continued in another volume (or two?).

Great and original story. Art in this is gorgeous. Some of the best work I’ve seen for ages. Highly recommend to all.
